About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Saida, a counsellor/psychotherapist with a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges and discover new ways to grow. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey—one where you bring your lived experience, and I bring compassion, curiosity, and tools to support your healing and growth. I have a deep belief in every client's capacity for growth and change.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and integrate techniques from CBT, mindfulness, positive psychology and person centred therapy. Ultimately though, I tailor each session to the unique needs of the individual. Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, life transitions, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen and supported.

In addition to therapy, I provide coaching and mentoring services for autistic clients. I can help navigate a complex and often confusing neurotypical world, whether it be challenges with communication, relationships or work issues. I have both professional and personal experience with autism which gives me a unique insight and understanding of life's difficulties.

What draws me to this work is witnessing people reconnect with their strengths, gain clarity, and build lives that feel more aligned and fulfilling. I deeply value the courage it takes to reach out for help, and I honour the trust my clients place in me.

As well as my training, I have a masters in psychology specialising in behaviour change and anxiety. I  have also previously worked as a mental health advisor at Young Minds and then as a palliative care and bereavement counsellor at the West Middlesex Hospital.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy swimming, walking and volunteering with the RSPCA. These moments of connection and activity  help me stay grounded, and I bring that same sense of presence and balance into my sessions.
