About me and my therapy practice

I’m a qualified Psychotherapist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, MÂ鶹ԭ´´ (Registered) and UKCP (Accredited).

Taking the step to begin therapy is brave and meaningful. It’s natural to feel a mix of emotions, such as curiosity, hesitation, or even uncertainty. You might wonder: How will this feel? What do I say? Will I be understood?

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning, I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support and understanding every step of the way.

I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and cared for and can share your thoughts and feelings without judgment or pressure to be anyone other than yourself.

Therapy is a personal journey of self-discovery and growth. I believe you hold the wisdom to understand yourself better than anyone else. My role is to gently help you uncover and reconnect with parts of yourself that may feel hidden, forgotten, or just outside of reach. Together, we’ll work to help you feel more connected to who you are.

As a Gestalt Psychotherapist, my approach focuses on awareness—exploring how one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviours influence each other and one's relationships. This deeper understanding can lead to powerful insights, helping one make choices that align with one's values and the life one hopes to create.

If you’re open to reflecting on your experiences, exploring new perspectives, and value building a strong therapeutic relationship, we may be a good fit for working together.

In addition to my private practice, I’ve been fortunate to support clients in emergency services and volunteer with organizations offering therapy to individuals from Black, Asian, and other minority backgrounds. These experiences have shaped my appreciation for the unique stories and journeys we all carry.

Wherever you find yourself right now, know that you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to offer a compassionate, understanding, and non-judgmental space for you to grow, heal, and discover your path forward.

Practice description

As a Gestalt Psychotherapist, I provide a safe and welcoming space to work together to explore what’s happening in your life. My focus is on understanding your experiences, emotions, and relationships as they unfold in the present moment. Together, we’ll take the time to notice patterns that may hold you back and explore new ways to approach life’s challenges.

I believe that each person has the inner strength and resources needed to grow and create positive change, and my role is to support you in discovering these within yourself. By focusing on your feelings, thoughts, and how you relate to others, we can uncover deeper self-awareness and new perspectives. This process can help you feel more connected to yourself and others and more empowered to live in a way that feels authentic and fulfilling.

I offer both face-to-face and online sessions via Zoom.

My Practice is located in Peckham Rye.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute consultation because it’s important for you to get a sense of whether I’m the right fit for you. This is a chance for you to ask any questions, share your concerns, and see how you feel about working with me.

If we decide to move forward, our first session will be an exploratory one. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and allows you the space to talk about the issues you’d like to focus on during therapy. If we agree to continue working together, I’ll provide you with my counselling agreement and intake form to get started.

In this first session, you’re welcome to share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with about why you’re seeking counselling. I’ll also ask a few questions about your history, current situation, and overall safety to help me understand how I can best support you.

My fee is £70 per session, starting from the first session, whether we meet face-to-face or online.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist (MÂ鶹ԭ´´, UKCP) offering face-to-face sessions right here in Croydon (10 minutes walk from East Croydon Station).

It takes courage to seek support, and I offer a genuinely warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can stop worrying about being judged and focus on what's weighing on your mind.

My practice is built on the belief that you hold the deepest insight into yourself. My Gestalt approach helps you uncover parts of you that may feel hidden or out of reach, supporting your journey of self-discovery and growth.

I bring unique experience from my work alongside emergency services and local mental health teams, which informs my capacity to manage complex, high-pressure situations.

Practice description

If you feel stuck, or just know that something needs to change, know that you don't have to carry that weight alone. I offer a supportive space where we can figure things out together.

I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor (MÂ鶹ԭ´´, UKCP). Starting therapy is one of the bravest steps you can take. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can finally relax and talk about whatever is weighing on your mind.

My practice is built on the belief that you hold the deepest wisdom about your own life. I have years of clinical experience, and my background working alongside emergency services and local mental health teams gives me a unique perspective on handling life's toughest moments.

My core approach is Gestalt Therapy. I use this to make sure our sessions are focused on you and your needs.

Gestalt: Focusing on Now: We won't ignore your past experiences, but we will focus on how those past feelings or hurts are still showing up and affecting you in your daily life today. We pay attention to your feelings, your thoughts, and your current patterns. This helps you gain new clarity and feel more whole and present.

Humanistic: Complete Acceptance: This is the simple foundation of our work: I offer complete acceptance, without judgment, conditions, or trying to change you. This support creates the true safety you need to be honest and start making powerful changes for yourself.

I work with individuals struggling with common issues, as well as complex specializations:

  1. Trauma (Complex, historic, or unresolved).
  2. Emergency Services Trauma/PTSD: Safely processing overwhelming experiences to help you move forward.
  3. Neurodiverse Clients (ADHD & Autism).
  4. Men's Issues and finding a healthy male identity.
  5. Racial Identity.
  6. Stress and Anxiety (Dealing with pressures in day-to-day life).
  7. Depression and Low Mood.
  8. Navigating and Grieving a Loss or relationship end.
  9. Abusive relationships and domestic violence.
  10. Creating and Sustaining Meaningful Relationships.

My first session

Getting Started: I offer a free 20-minute phone call because your comfort is the most important part of therapy. If we decide to move forward, our first session is a gentle, unpressured space to listen to your story and goals.

Safety and Trust: This space is confidential and consistent. You are invited to bring your vulnerabilities, your anger, and your doubts. We will build a trusting relationship so you can put down your self-censorship and truly begin to heal.

Practice Location: Face-to-face sessions in Croydon (10-minute walk from East Croydon Station), or online nationwide via Zoom.
