About me and my therapy practice
Trauma-informed counselling for anxiety, overwhelm and the impact of earlier experiences in Greenwich, Crystal Palace and online
If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed or affected by earlier experiences, you are not alone. You may find yourself overthinking, feeling on edge, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that are difficult to change.
You may also find it hard to put into words what is wrong, but have a sense that something does not feel quite right.
I offer a supportive and confidential space where you can begin to explore what is going on for you, at a pace that feels manageable.
How I can help
I work with people experiencing:
Anxiety and persistent overthinking
Emotional overwhelm or burnout
The lasting impact of earlier experiences or trauma
Low self-worth or self-doubt
Relationship difficulties
Feeling stuck or disconnected
You do not need to have a clear reason for seeking therapy. You also do not need to describe your experiences as 鈥渢rauma鈥 for them to be valid or to have an impact on how you feel.
About me
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (麻豆原创).
Alongside my private practice, I have experience working in NHS services, including South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, as well as in charitable organisations supporting emotional wellbeing.
Practice description
I am a trauma-informed integrative therapist. I draw on a range of approaches, including CBT, psychodynamic and person-centred therapy, and adapt my work to suit your individual needs.
Being trauma-informed means that I place an emphasis on creating a sense of safety and stability within the therapeutic relationship. We will work at a pace that feels appropriate for you, and there is no expectation to talk about anything before you feel ready.
My first session
Next steps
I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call, where you can ask any questions and decide whether you would like to arrange an initial session.
All therapy sessions are 50 minutes. To begin with, we will carry out an initial assessment. This includes gathering information about your history, current challenges, risk and expectations of therapy. This is where we start to begin building a therapeutic relationship. While I may ask questions about your emotional, physical and social well-being, the pace and depth will be guided by your comfort. This may take several sessions depending on the individual needs of each client.
All sessions - 拢65/50 minutes
