About me and my therapy practice
You might be someone who appears capable and composed on the outside, yet internally feels anxious, self-critical, or emotionally overwhelmed.
Perhaps you notice repeating patterns: overthinking, overgiving, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling responsible for everyone else’s needs while your own quietly go unmet. You may be sensitive, reflective, and deeply thoughtful, yet unsure how to feel more steady or confident within yourself.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, low mood, burnout, ADHD and neurodivergence, relationship and attachment patterns, grief, life transitions, and identity shifts. Many of the people I support are emotionally aware individuals who want more than symptom management: they want deeper understanding and lasting change.
In our work together, we focus on helping you feel more internally integrated and less divided within yourself. Rather than criticising or suppressing parts of you that feel anxious, perfectionistic, or people-pleasing, we approach them with curiosity and compassion. As these patterns are understood, they often begin to soften.
Clients frequently describe:
- feeling more grounded and less overwhelmed
- gaining clarity around boundaries and relationships
- responding more consciously rather than reacting
- developing greater self-trust and emotional steadiness
- feeling more aligned with their values and sense of self
My approach is grounded in psychosynthesis psychotherapy, which views you as a whole person, including your strengths, vulnerabilities, values, and potential. Sessions are collaborative, compassionate, and paced carefully to support a sense of safety and trust. We attend to present-day challenges while exploring the deeper experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others.
My practice is welcoming and affirming of LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent individuals (including ADHD), and those in non-traditional relationship structures. I work in a respectful, inclusive, and non-pathologising way.
Practice description
I really believe we come to know our worth when it’s reflected to us by someone who sees us with care and compassion. That belief is at the heart of how I work: I want you to feel seen, heard, and truly understood.
Depending on your needs, I might draw on things like active listening, guided reflection, creative visualisation, inner parts work, and imagination-based exercises. These approaches can help you reconnect with your inner resources and engage your will in a more intentional and empowered way.
If early life experiences or childhood trauma are still playing out in your present, we can gently explore and heal those patterns, so you can step more fully into your adult self and reclaim a sense of agency in the areas where you’ve felt stuck or small.
I also love working with your creativity, imagination, and intuition, parts of ourselves that often get left behind in a world that can be overly focused on logic and productivity. These inner qualities can be powerful guides on your path toward healing and self-discovery.
My first session
During your first session, you can discuss your issue in more depth. You will also experience my working style, enabling you to decide whether you wish to commit to a working agreement. At that point, any outstanding questions you might have about my contract (to be read beforehand) will also be answered.
At the end of the first session, you will be asked to decide within a week if you wish to commit to working together. I will be able to offer you a weekly slot at the same time every week that will be just for you (I offer some flexibility wherever possible if you need to reschedule once in a while).
