About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced, Â鶹Դ´ registered counsellor providing one-to-one therapy for individual adults and couples.
I help couples who are struggling to get along. Maybe there are recent or long-standing relationship difficulties, issues with intimacy and sex, arguing and conflict. We can navigate these problems together and find a way through them.
Some clients benefit from tools and techniques, others want to achieve new understanding about themselves, many just want a safe place to talk. I won't tell you what to do, you are the best person to decide what you need, but I will listen to you and guide you to understand yourself and your circumstances better and make changes.
I offer a calm, non-judgmental therapeutic space where you can feel comfortable to explore the issues that are concerning you, overcome them and make lasting changes.
Practice description
I am an integrative counsellor which means I draw on different therapies for each individual client and I have a wide range of experience of working with different client groups.
I am a Relate trained relationship therapist and I help couples who have challenges getting along or maybe want to separate. I offer sex positive sex therapy to couples and also those in CNM relationships who are experiencing difficulties with intimacy or sexual dysfunction.
I have specialist training to help with sex and porn addiction whether you are concerned about your behaviour and want to help to change, or are the partner who has been devastated by a discovery. Perhaps someone has been cheating or had an affair? I can help you navigate this.
You might need to explore some difficult issues and we can do that with you as a couple or individually. These can be difficult problems to share, it’s not easy, but it can be a relief to talk confidentially, rather than keep things bottled up.
I trained as a Bereavement Volunteer at Cruse Bereavement and I can provide emotional support and grief counselling to anyone who has experienced loss through the death of a loved one. A death can impact all our relationships and sense of self so it can be helpful to explore these changes and learn to cope with them.
