About me and my therapy practice
I am an accredited therapist working with individuals and couples. I offer a safe and supportive space where you can explore what is troubling you and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.
I work integratively which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your individual needs. My practice combines humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), while also paying close attention to the connection between mind and body. I believe our emotional experiences are not only thought and felt, but often held physically too.
Together, we explore your history and begin to understand how certain patterns may have developed. By bringing unconscious thoughts and feelings into awareness, you can deepen your self-understanding and gain insight into how you relate to yourself and others. From this place of awareness, new and more helpful ways of being can emerge.
My role is not to tell you what to do, but to support you in building insight, resilience and emotional clarity. As you become more connected to your inner world, you can make choices that feel more authentic and move towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Practice description
Finding space to reflect on our thoughts and feelings can feel difficult in today鈥檚 fast-paced world. Therapy offers a confidential and supportive environment where you can slow down, explore what鈥檚 going on for you, and begin to make sense of it. I believe therapy can be beneficial for everyone, regardless of how big or small your concerns may seem.
My approach is grounded in the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. I work with warmth, curiosity and compassion, while also offering gentle challenge when it feels helpful. Above all, this is your therapy. We work collaboratively, with you setting the pace. My aim is to support you in developing a deeper sense of safety, connection, purpose and joy in your life.
My first session
In our first session, we鈥檒l talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you would like to change or understand more deeply. Together, we will clarify your goals 鈥 whether that involves managing anxiety, improving relationships, building confidence or working through painful experiences from the past 鈥 and discuss how we might approach this work.
Therapy is a collaborative process. There is no 鈥渞ight鈥 way to do therapy; we move at a pace that feels manageable for you. We will check in regularly to ensure the work feels supportive, relevant and aligned with your needs.
