I am an experienced therapist working with couples and individuals. I specialise in helping clients understand and change unhelpful patterns of being and relating that are keeping them stuck. Together we look back at your history and gradually start to identify where those patterns came from without blame or judgement. With this new self-knowledge and insight we can explore different, more helpful ways of being to secure meaningful and lasting change.
I work integratively meaning I combine techniques from different modalities of psychotherapy according to the clinical need. My approach draws on techniques from humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and I also pay attention to what is going on in your body.

In our first session we establish what you want to work on in therapy and how we will know when it has been successful. We go over how therapy works and what you can expect. I take a brief history including of any therapy you've had before and then we get started. Throughout our work together, I check in regularly to ensure the therapy is working for you and in line with your goals.
