About me and my therapy practice
In my therapeutic practice, I provide a warm and supportive environment for individuals to explore their difficulties in life, relationships and childhood, and to share and express confusing and overwhelming feelings. I believe that, though challenging, therapy can help clients navigate their life struggles and bring unconscious patterns of behaviour and relational difficulties to light, enabling more self-awareness, confidence and connection with the world around them, and in relationships.
I have a deep trust in the uniqueness and resourcefulness of each person and believe that with curiosity, reflection and expression, individuals can get to know themselves better, giving them a stronger sense of purpose, belonging and fulfilment enabling a more autonomous and meaningful life.
Practice description
I am a relational therapist, and I believe that true healing unfolds within the therapeutic relationship itself. Counselling and psychotherapy can be genuinely life-changing, whether you're hoping to make sense of your past, understand unhelpful patterns, or simply feel less stuck and more able to move forward.
I'm deeply interested in the complexity of being human and the many experiences that can challenge our sense of safety, connection, and meaning. In my work, your well-being and personal growth are at the heart of everything I do. I bring warmth, empathy, and genuine curiosity to understanding your life experiences, and I aim to help you rediscover what brings you independence, joy, purpose, and a sense of belonging.
We will work together, to talk things through, make sense of what's happening for you, and explore new possibilities. I'm not a silent therapist; our sessions will be supportive, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw on both traditional and contemporary therapeutic approaches, depending on what best fits your needs and preferences.
I also have a deep understanding of grief and specialise in bereavement therapy. Loss can be one of the most painful and disorienting experiences anyone goes through. I offer a steady, compassionate space where you can talk openly, make sense of your feelings, and find your way through this uncertain and difficult time.
My first session
In our first session we will discuss your reasons for coming to therapy and what you wish to gain from it. We will talk about any previous therapy and I will ask you about key relationships and any events that may have had an impact on you. We will assess whether we are the right fit and discuss further sessions if you want to continue with me as your therapist.
I am happy to have a fifteen-minute phone conversation prior to the first in depth session, to answer any questions you may have, you can also ask any questions by email.

About me and my therapy practice
I provide clinical supervision to psychotherapists and counsellors in a confidential and welcoming environment.
The heart of my work as a supervisor is to create a space to support growth.
I am an integrative therapist and supervisor drawing on attachment theory to explore the relational patterns between therapist and client.
Attachment theory offers a useful frame for making sense of things like transference, countertransference, and moments of relational rupture or closeness. My aim is always to offer a steady, secure base in supervision - a space where unconscious processes can gently emerge, and where my supervisees can grow in confidence, insight, and relational depth.
I work with the Seven-Eyed Model, a trusted supervision model, which ensures that all aspects of the client-therapist-supervisory relationship are covered, and I communicate in language which is accessible. I am very considerate of working with the modality of therapy that my supervisees work with, and I am very aligned and sensitive to working with oppression.
Support and challenge are at the heart of my supervisory role. I encourage supervisees to reflect on their boundaries and their sense of self-worth, as therapists, and encourage autonomy and growth.
