About me and my therapy practice

Good supervision can be really hard to find. As practitioners, we work so hard and give so much, and supervision is key to supporting us in our client work, our personal growth and in our professional development. I know from many years of experience as a therapist, that we all need somewhere to safely talk about our client work, to work out what's happening with our clients, and find new ways through impasses. I seek to provide a holding and nurturing supervisory space, where we can explore your needs, build your practice and work through the issues in your work without shame or judgement.

As a supervisor, I work relationally to help create a safe place for you to be supported in your work, and to gently challenge you to be a more reflective practitioner. I draw on the Seven Eyed model of supervision to ensure that we attend to all areas of practice to best support you. I also use the relational-developmental model of supervision so that we may attend to not just you and your clients, but the entire field conditions of the ever-changing and complex world we live in, where identity, circumstance and culture have such a big impact on all of us.

In addition to my work as a supervisor, I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapist, who has worked organisationally as a Trauma and Severe and Multiple Disadvantages specialist therapist. I am now in private practice, where I primarily specialise in working with gender, sexual and relationship diversity and Borderline process, though I see a diverse range of clients.  I received my Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute.

My core modality is Humanistic Integrative, but I am happy to work with supervisees who practice across any Humanistic modalities. However, if you come from a different modality and would like to discuss working together, I am happy to explore how we might make this work together.
