About me and my therapy practice
As a psychotherapist, I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change. With a safe and supportive therapeutic space, you can talk safely and discover your inner strength and resilience to overcome life challenges. Through my approach, I empower my clients to navigate their emotions and thoughts, ultimately leading to a healthier and more fulfilling life. I am trained in Person-Centered Approach which I use as a foundation to use other techniques! Person-centered Therapy (PCT) is a Non-directive approach where I believe you are the expert and I support you to become more self-aware and fulfilled.
I also use techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness DBT and Compassion Focused therapy strategies to support my clients if need be. I like working creatively as well! I use a collaborative approach, which means I use my person-centered approach as my foundation and work with you to explore your expectations from therapy.

Practice description
A Person-centered approach is a Humanistic approach that focuses on providing you with a safe space to explore your emotions/feelings/experiences while supporting you to find your own solutions.
Whilst having a Person-Centered approach as my foundation, I have been able to incorporate DBT, ACT, CFTand mindfulness techniques into my practice. We work together to find out which technique works best for you or we work with a mixture of them!
My specialist areas of work are Trauma of various kinds, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, domestic violence, BAME groups, mental health conditions and grief. I've work with patients who have suffered a brain injury which has expanded my clinical knowledge and how abnormalities in the brain can impact mood. Currently, I work with males who have learning disabilities and are neurodivergent.

My first session
I offer a 10-minute introductory call to help you determine if I am the right therapist for you or a full 50-minute session to discuss your concerns and expectations from therapy (standard price).
As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe space for you to explore your thoughts emotions and feelings along with supporting you every step of the way to your goal!
