About me and my therapy practice
My name is Christian, and I’m an experienced trauma-informed psychotherapist with a deep commitment to helping individuals.
I integrate a combination of psychological and somatic therapeutic approaches alongside innovative evidence-based approaches, to provide a tailored support that aligns with your individual needs.
Together, we’ll explore the inner workings of your world, uncover new insights and perspectives, and discover pathways toward meaningful change. Change that feels right for you.
My approach is down to earth and relaxed, grounded in compassion, curiosity, and creativity (with an occasional bit of laughter too!).
My intention is to help you live a life that feels more grounded, balanced, and more aligned with who you truly are.
Practice description
My core training is in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, which enables me to take a holistic approach drawing on a range of both psychological and somatic methods. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I will tailor our work together to suit your own goals, preferences, and pace, ultimately creating a collaborative and flexible space that supports meaningful, transformational healing and change. Change that has meaning for you.
In our initial sessions, we’ll focus on building a safe, non judgemental space where you can begin to explore and share what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll invite you to talk about your current challenges, your personal history and what you hope to gain from our work together. Through gentle reflection and open dialogue, we can begin shaping a way forward that feels right for you.
As we move through our work together, we’ll take time to notice patterns, recurring emotions, relationship dynamics and deeper processes that may be playing out beneath the surface. This can help us understand how past experiences might still be influencing your present.
At times, it may feel more helpful to stay with what’s happening in the here and now by tuning into your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, and the way you relate to yourself and others in the moment. Other times, we may zoom out to explore broader existential questions such as meaning, responsibility, and the choices that shape your life.
Within all of this, I will offer intentional and well supported challenges or interventions to support further insight and change, always in a way that respects your readiness and values.
Regardless of the approach we take, our sessions will remain responsive to what feels most salient, meaningful and relevant to your experience, all within a consistent and supportive therapeutic framework.
