Practice description
I work in private practice, and I am also part of the Allado (formerly TouchBase) therapist collective and am a freelance therapist for the Diocese of Chichester.First and foremost, I focus on building trust and a warm, therapeutic relationship with my clients. I work integratively by tailoring my approach to each client, using a variety of therapy models all underpinned by neurobiological research, including talking therapy, EMDR and if appropriate the use of creative media.
I adopt a holistic approach to my work – acknowledging that you can’t separate out the mind and body. I also consider the positive influence of lifestyle factors on emotional well-being and resilience.

I previously practised as a lawyer in the City. I therefore understand the dynamics of high pressure, competitive environments. I am qualified as a lawyer both in the UK and South Africa, and I emigrated from South Africa to the UK as a young adult. I have two young adult sons, both of whom have ADHD which was diagnosed in adolescence.
