About me and my therapy practice
My approach
I provide counselling in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. My practice is rooted in a person-centred, humanistic approach, which means I work at your pace and prioritise your experience, ensuring you feel heard and supported.
I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family estrangement, workplace stress, and low self-esteem. I have also worked extensively with clients who have experienced trauma, helping them process difficult experiences in a supportive and empowering way.
Specialist experience
• I work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, supporting them through cultural struggles, differences, and generational issues, and I have undertaken additional training in cultural competence.
• I also have experience supporting perinatal and postnatal parents, helping them navigate the emotional changes and challenges that pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood can bring. This includes supporting clients experiencing hyperemesis gravidarum, a debilitating pregnancy condition.
My belief
I believe that with the right environment, support, and time, meaningful change is possible. Counselling can help you make sense of your experiences and create lasting positive outcomes in your life.
