About me and my therapy practice

Welcome, the decision to seek therapy is not to be taken lightly and I appreciate the journey you have undertaken to arrive at this point. To seek support and help is a sign of strength and with the right conditions in place the decision to do something different can be a life changing act of self love and compassion.

I work in a person centred modality using a trauma informed lens, and with gentle compassionate inquiry.

You are at the centre of the work.

Together, through talk, silence or play we unravel your obstacles and concerns and progress towards you finding your own strategies to best develop your resilience and self awareness and to help you feel more light and hope in your future.

Practice description

Therapy can be hard work and can also be extremely rewarding. Preparing to take that leap into the unknown can be unsettling and it is paramount to feel like you are in safe hands.

I have extensive experience working with adults, young people and children and enjoy working with all ages. Change can occur at any stage of life and to be able to witness and observe someone making better choices is always humbling.

As a neurodivergent practitioner I have a wide range of tools in working with neurodivergent clients and appreciate how sometimes a lack of diagnosis and awareness can cause mental health issues arising from a lack of proper support and understanding of a person processing needs.

I create a therapeutic space that is free of judgement and is a space for all regardless of background. I appreciate we all have our own unique back stories and this informs our sense of who we are and how we operate in our worlds; I use our differences to help you value your uniqueness.

My first session

The first step is a telephone conversation, email or text exchange to determine if we are compatible to work together. If we are a good match then we will book a session.

In the event that I am unable to work with you,  I will refer you to another agency or organisation that may meet your needs better.

About me and my therapy practice

Working as an anti oppressive practitioner I use awareness of my intersections to deliver culturally attuned Supervision to Counsellors and trainee Counsellors.

I work in a PC modality as well as using working in a holistic and Integrative way. I understand that we have to meet a whole person existing in their own community and system. I work with clients using a trauma informed lens and work with a lived experience of neurodivergence.

I have extensive client work with children, young people and adults and have a wide range of life experience to complement my Clinical work.

Practice description

I work online predominantly however face to face sessions are available when required.

I offer a warm, friendly and encouraging space to support your client work using the 7 eyed Supervision model. Social justice and equality are cornerstones of my ethical practise and I seek to make therapy as available and accessible to all clients.

My first session

A free 20 minute consultation to establish how we would work together and set out the terms of our professional working relationship. We would explore client presentations and prior experiences of Clinical Supervision and discuss how to meet your needs best to support your client work.
