If you’re curious about starting therapy or would like to see if we’re a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
About me and my therapy practice
If you’ve landed here, maybe life feels like a constant struggle beneath the surface. You might be holding it all together for everyone else—at work, at home, in your relationships—while inside, you feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected or just deeply tired. Maybe you’ve been through trauma, difficult relationships, burnout, or you’re carrying old patterns that no longer fit who you want to be.
You don’t have to do this alone.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist and wellbeing practitioner, and I support adults from all walks of life—including parents, carers, educators, leaders, creatives, and professionals—who feel stuck in survival mode. Whether you’re navigating long-term stress, people-pleasing, emotional numbness, chronic anxiety or the ripple effects of narcissistic abuse or childhood trauma, I offer a calm, compassionate space to begin unravelling what’s been held for so long.
I work with the body as well as the mind, combining somatic therapy, nervous system education, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed practice. This means we’ll gently explore the parts of you that have been coping, protecting, overfunctioning or shutting down—and help you reconnect with steadiness, clarity and choice.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Therapy is a place to breathe, reflect, and slowly shift what no longer serves you. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll create space for something new.
Practice description
Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and centred around what feels possible—not pressured. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Each person I work with brings their own story, survival strategies, and hopes for change. My role is to meet you where you are, with care, clarity and respect
In our sessions, you can expect:
A calm, confidential space where you won’t be judged or rushed
Time to explore what’s beneath the surface at a pace that feels right for you
A focus on how past experiences and patterns may still be impacting your nervous system, relationships, or daily life
Support to gently build emotional regulation, self-awareness and resilience
I draw on a range of trauma-informed and somatic approaches, including nervous system education, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, and body-based tools. This helps us work not only with your thoughts, but also with what your body might still be holding onto.
I also deliver CPD/CE Accredited Trauma Informed and Positive Psychology workshops for individuals, schools, organisations. Topics include the physiology of domestic abuse, recognising red flags in teen relationships, trauma-informed parenting, and mental health first aid.
I believe therapy is more than a conversation—it’s a space to reconnect with the parts of you that have been trying to cope for too long, and to begin building a life that feels more manageable, more honest, and more your own.
Trauma Unlocking Workbook
This gentle, guided resource is designed to help you begin making sense of the experiences your body may still be holding. Using a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, the workbook supports you in uncovering how trauma can show up in your thoughts, behaviours, and relationships—without overwhelming you.
Whether you're just starting out or deepening your healing journey, this workbook is a supportive companion for self-discovery, emotional regulation, and building a more connected relationship with yourself.
My first session
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big decision, so I offer a free 20-minute chat online to help you get a sense of whether we might be a good fit.
This is a relaxed, no-pressure space where you can ask any questions, share a little about what’s bringing you to therapy (if you feel comfortable) and get a feel for how I work. It’s also a chance for you to reflect on whether my approach feels right for you—there’s no obligation to commit.
If we decide to go ahead, we’ll then book a full 50-minute session. The first session is a time to explore what you’re hoping for from therapy, any current challenges, and what support might look like moving forward. I may ask some gentle questions to better understand your background and what matters most to you right now.
This process is always led by you—we go at your pace, and I’ll never push you to share more than you’re ready to.
To book your free chat or find out more, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
