I work with people of all ages and backgrounds. No problem is too big or too small for us to explore together.
I am increasing my practise to include Tuesday and Wednesday appointments in the southside of Glasgow and online from July 2025.
On Thursdays 1pm - 8pm and Fridays 9am - 5pm I am based in my counselling room near Charing Cross in Glasgow offering in person and online sessions
About me and my therapy practice
If you find yourself overwhelmed by difficult emotions or feeling stuck in life and want to understand yourself better, I can help. I offer a safe place where you can explore your feelings with support, understand how you got here and ultimately begin healing and feel stronger.
I have a special interest in working with people affected by domestic abuse and childhood sexual abuse. I am LGBTQ+ inclusive in this work.
Recovering from abuse and rebuilding self esteem can be very challenging and I offer a gentle and accepting approach to understanding and finding yourself again.
Practice description
Working Psychodynamically involves holding in mind that our past experiences can influence how we feel about the world, people, relationships and ourselves. I believe that the relationship between client and counsellor is important in allowing you to explore whatever may be going on for you and to get to a place of compassion for yourself and the confidence to move forward in your life.
I mainly work weekly, sessions would be at the same time and place each week. However, I can offer flexibility so please do get in touch if you require any other accommodations.
My therapy room is not wheelchair accessible as the building does not have a lift however, I will arrange accessible accommodation to make it possible for us to work together in person.
My first session
The first contact following an enquiry would be a 15 minute phone call (if requested).
The first session would be a standard 50 minute session and would look at your reasons for coming to counselling and a chance for us to get to know each other.
