About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I'm Emily and I work with mums to help them rebalance and reconnect with themselves. I can help you to process and improve your sense of wellbeing so that you can make long lasting changes.

I can help if...

- You're wondering where the 'old you' went

- You and your partner are struggling to communicate

- You feel lonely but too anxious to leave the house

- You feel out of touch with your postpartum body.

- Becoming a mum has stirred up memories and feelings from your childhood that you want to explore.

If any of this resonates, you aren't alone and help is available.

I have worked with many challenges and experiences including, miscarriage and babies born sleeping, postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, relationship problems, childhood illness, changing identity and many more. No concern is too big or small.

All situations are handled with the most sensitive attention and care. I love what I do supporting mums be their best selves, please get in touch!

I’m a qualified counsellor based in Bristol offering face-to-face and online and phone sessions. I’m a Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and I abide by their ethical framework; I am also recognised as a Registered Member of the Â鶹ԭ´´. I am an integrative counsellor meaning I tailor my approach to the individual.

I understand that it can be difficult to attend sessions face to face, non-mobile babies are welcome in our sessions if it will make getting there more accessible for you. I also offer sessions on Zoom, which has more flexibility and where babies are welcome to join as well.

I spent over a year working as a volunteer counsellor with Bath Mind and have also supported families with sick children at the Children's Hospital and Rainbow Trust.
