My earliest appointment begins at 8:30 a.m. and my latest at 6:30 p.m. (Please note that evening sessions after 5 p.m. are in high demand, so spaces are limited.)

Outside of this period, I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs and work with you to find a time that feels manageable and supportive.

About me and my therapy practice

Stepping into counselling is a brave act and I aim to make that journey feel a safe and supportive way of working together.

My practice is built on a foundation of trust, honesty, and respect. I am here to listen deeply and without judgment, creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel truly seen and heard.

I see our time together as a partnership. You bring your life experience, and I bring my training and expertise.  We will work together to uncover your inner resources, gain a clearer perspective on your challenges, and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Practice description

As a committed Â鶹ԭ´´ member, I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can feel at ease exploring your thoughts and feelings. I understand that taking the first step to reach out for support can be tough, and I'm here to help you through whatever you're facing.

My approach is person-centred, meaning our sessions will be guided entirely by you and your unique experiences. I truly believe you hold the key to your growth, and my role is to support you in finding your way forward.

To ensure our work together is as effective as possible, I also use an integrative approach. This means I draw on a range of therapeutic tools and techniques from other models, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to tailor our sessions to your specific needs.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, loss, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck, I am here to listen. Together, we can explore your concerns at a pace that feels right for you, helping you find clarity and move towards lasting positive change.

My first session

My first session is an introductory one, lasting 50 minutes and is priced at a reduced rate of £35 if online and £45 if face to face. This is a chance for us to meet and for you to experience what it's like to work with me.

During this time, we can discuss what's on your mind and explore your concerns. It's also a low-pressure opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about counselling and how I work.

The most important goal is for you to get a sense of whether you feel comfortable with me and if you believe we can work together effectively.

This session helps me understand your needs and how I might best support you.

There's no obligation to continue after this session, but if you feel comfortable, we can discuss booking our next appointment.

Hello, I’m Helen.

I offer clinical supervision for both trainee & qualified counsellors and I would be delighted to support you in your professional journey.

My supervision style is reflective, supportive and encouraging – creating a safe space where you can grow in confidence and sustain your work with clients.

I currently have availability in my practice, with flexible morning and afternoon appointments. Evening sessions are possible too, though these tend to be in high demand and may be limited after 5p.m.

I will be taking a short break from the 22nd of November to the 28th of November, but outside of these dates I’ll do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs.

About me and my therapy practice

I provide warm, supportive, and non-judgmental supervision, tailored to your way of working as a counsellor.

Whether you prefer a traditional approach or want to explore creative or play-based techniques, I can adapt my supervision to meet your individual needs.

I enjoy supporting those working with adult clients, as well as those working with children and young people, helping you navigate your client work with confidence and clarity.

With over 25 years of experience supporting children and young people, I feel I bring a distinctive perspective to this area of counselling as I also work as a Play Therapist and trained creative counsellor.

My supervision combines practical guidance, reflective insight, and fresh perspectives, all tailored to your style and client group.

I see supervision as collaborative and supportive, designed to help you develop your skills, build confidence, and sustain your professional well-being, whether your practice is traditional, creative, or a blend of both :)

Practice description

I believe supervision is a vital part of a counsellor's professional journey, offering a dedicated space for reflection, growth, and support. My role is to act as a supportive guide and a trusted professional companion.

In our sessions, you can expect us to explore your client work from different angles. We'll look at the therapeutic relationships you are building, discuss any ethical dilemmas you may encounter and reflect on any personal reactions to the work.

This is a space to celebrate your successes and to navigate any challenges or uncertainties that arise.

I would like to help you develop your own unique therapeutic style and to build your confidence and competence as a practitioner.

I'll encourage you to trust your instincts and to integrate your knowledge and skills in a way that feels authentic to you.

My goal is for you to leave each supervision session feeling supported, more self-aware, and ready to continue your valuable work with clients.

My first session

I offer a one-hour introductory supervision session online or by phone for £45, or face-to-face for £55. (The slightly higher cost for in-person sessions helps cover room hire and travel.)

During our time together, we’ll explore where you are in your counselling journey, discuss your placement or private practice, review any paperwork, and consider how we might work together to support your growth.

Finding the right supervisor is an important step.   I aim to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can reflect, gain clarity and feel empowered in your professional journey.

Your introductory session is a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity to talk about your practice, your goals and how I can best support you.

I’d love to hear from you and help you take the next step in your development as a counsellor.
