About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for visiting my profile.
Do you sometimes feel unheard, overwhelmed, or like no one truly understands what you’re going through? You don’t have to face it alone.
As a qualified therapist, I work with individuals and couples to help them navigate life’s challenges, whether that’s managing anxiety, healing from the past, improving communication or finding clarity in their relationships. Together, we’ll make sense of your thoughts and emotions and move toward the change you’re seeking.
I also work with couples who feel stuck, distant or unsure how to move forward. Whether you’re struggling with conflict, trust or connection, I offer a space where both partners can feel heard and supported as we explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.
Alongside this, I work in a school supporting boys aged 11–16 as they deal with the challenges of growing up, whether that’s managing emotions, friendships or difficulties at home. This experience continually reminds me of the importance of creating safe, non-judgemental spaces where people of all ages feel understood.
As a practicing British Muslim, I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting, especially when you’re unsure if your values or experiences will be understood. I offer a culturally sensitive, faith-aware space and welcome people from all backgrounds, beliefs and life experiences.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental. You won’t be told what to do. Instead, I’ll listen with empathy and curiosity, and together we’ll work towards your growth and healing.
When you’re ready, I’m here.
Practice description
As an integrative counsellor, I understand that no single approach works for everyone. That’s why I draw from a range of counselling theories and techniques, allowing me to tailor sessions to meet your unique needs and circumstances.
I offer therapy sessions face-to-face or online via Teams depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
If you’d like more information or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via text, email or phone. I aim to respond as soon as possible.
My first session
I understand that counselling might feel unfamiliar and you may not know exactly what to expect. Our first session is an opportunity for you to get a sense of the space, ask any questions you may have and begin to explore what has brought you to therapy.
There’s no pressure to commit straight away. After our initial session, I invite you to take some time to reflect on whether you feel comfortable and ready to continue. If and when you’re ready to book another session, you can reach out in your own time.
For face-to-face sessions, we’ll also go through some initial paperwork during our first meeting. For online sessions, this will be sent to you beforehand to complete at your convenience.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified counsellor and reflective supervisor passionate about supporting emotional wellbeing, personal growth and conscious living. My approach is warm, grounded and compassionate, and I strive to create a safe space where practitioners feel able to explore challenges honestly, openly and without judgement.
I work relationally and reflectively, recognising the importance of supporting not only the work people do, but also the person behind the role. Whether I am offering counselling or supervision, I encourage self-awareness, authenticity and meaningful reflection to help people better understand themselves, strengthen resilience and navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.
A key part of my work focuses on boundaries, self-care, emotional wellbeing and developing sustainable ways of coping personally and professionally. I believe that growth happens when people feel seen, heard and supported, and I aim to offer a space that nurtures both emotional safety and personal empowerment.
My practice is also rooted in cultural sensitivity and conscious living, valuing each person’s unique experiences and perspectives. Through reflection, connection and compassionate support, I help others deepen their self-understanding, reconnect with themselves, and move forward in a way that feels authentic and aligned with who they are.
Practice description
My practice offers a warm, supportive and reflective space where individuals and practitioners can feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, challenges and experiences openly and without judgement. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, so I aim to create an environment that feels calm, grounded, compassionate and genuinely collaborative.
When working with me, you can expect to be met with empathy, honesty and respect. I work in a way that encourages reflection, self-awareness and deeper understanding, helping people make sense of their experiences while developing healthier ways of coping, communicating and caring for themselves. I believe therapy and supervision should feel supportive and empowering, rather than overwhelming or clinical.
My approach is relational and person-centred, which means I value the importance of building a trusting connection and tailoring support to each individual’s needs, values and lived experiences. I place strong importance on boundaries, emotional wellbeing, resilience and culturally sensitive practice, ensuring people feel seen, heard and understood within the context of their own lives and identities.
In supervision, I provide a reflective space for practitioners to process their work thoughtfully, explore challenges safely and develop both personally and professionally. I support supervisees not only in their clinical work, but also in maintaining balance, self-awareness and emotional wellbeing within their role.
Above all, my practice is rooted in authenticity, compassion and meaningful connection. I want people to leave sessions feeling supported, empowered, and more connected to themselves, with greater clarity, confidence and self-understanding.
My first session
Your consultation call and first supervision session are an opportunity for us to begin building a reflective, supportive and collaborative supervisory relationship. I understand that finding the right supervisor is important, so I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected and able to speak openly about both your work and your experience within the role.
During the consultation call, we will discuss your current practice, the type of supervision you are looking for and what support feels important for you at this stage of your professional journey. This is also a chance for you to ask questions about how I work, my approach to supervision and whether we feel like the right fit to work together.
In the first supervision session, we will begin exploring your professional context, client work, strengths, challenges and areas you may want support with. We may also discuss your theoretical approach, professional goals, boundaries, self-care, and how your work impacts you personally and emotionally.
You can expect supervision with me to be reflective, supportive and collaborative. I offer a warm, grounded, and non-judgemental space where you can think openly, process your work honestly, and deepen your self-awareness as a practitioner. Alongside supporting ethical and safe practice, I also place importance on the wellbeing of the practitioner behind the work.
My approach encourages reflection, curiosity, authenticity and professional growth, while also recognising the emotional demands that therapeutic work can hold. I believe supervision should feel containing, empowering, and meaningful. A space where you feel both supported and gently challenged in ways that encourage confidence, insight and development.
Above all, our initial sessions are about building trust, understanding your needs as a supervisee and creating a supervisory relationship that feels safe, reflective and aligned with the way you want to grow professionally and personally
