About me and my therapy practice

On the outside, things may seem ‘fine’ — yet inside you might feel worn out, anxious, isolated, or simply not like yourself anymore. Perhaps you’re carrying something painful that’s reshaped your life, or you’re ready to understand yourself better and make positive changes.

Whether you're living with anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, relationship issues, low self-esteem, work or study stress, traumatic experiences, or managing chronic health challenges, you're not alone. I provide a space where your experience is honoured, never judged — a place to explore what’s hurting, what’s healing, and what might come next.

I’ve worked with people in diverse roles — professionals, parents, students — helping them find balance, resilience, and clarity in the face of pressure, uncertainty, and change. With a background in leadership, I understand the impact of holding high-pressure roles. I have experience working in mental health, supporting adults with diagnoses and understand the importance of being heard and empowered.

I offer counselling that’s grounded in person-centred values: empathy, honesty, and respect for your unique experience, and integrates a holistic view of trauma and its effect on the body. If you value a structured approach, I also draw on cognitive behavioural therapy to support goal-setting and reshape unhelpful patterns. Our work will move at your pace and centre what matters most to you.

Together, we can build emotional resilience, restore confidence, and create lasting, meaningful change.

I work with 16+ teenagers, adults and student counsellors. There is a wide range of reasons to come to counselling which doesn't always fit into a box, however here are some areas I have worked with before; anxiety, depression, stress, life challenges and well-being, low self-esteem, ADHD, relationships, trauma, sleep issues, bereavement and grief and loss including life and job changes.  I

Online sessions are usually via Google Meets, however, we can discuss if there is a preferred platform.

My first session

Please contact me to arrange a 30-minute initial conversation to discuss what you would like from counselling and any questions you may have.

In preparation for our first session, I will send you a contract and information form.

It can feel daunting to share innermost challenges, and it can take a few sessions to get to know each other and get used to the safety of the counselling space.  The sessions are your time to explore what is important for you, and I meet you with warmth, compassion, and curiosity to unpack the burdens you have been carrying.  This may require me to understand more about you, such as what growing up was like for you.

In face-to-face counselling, there is water, tissues and facilities. When online, it can be helpful to have water and tissues available.
