About me and my therapy practice
Hi there 😊 So, you're thinking about therapy? Fabulous! Or maybe you're just having a nosey, like peeking into a quirky little shop. Either way, come on in!
I'm Kesley, and I see therapy as a chance to connect with yourself (and maybe untangle some of those colourful threads of wool in your lovely brain). I offer a down-to-earth space where I'll really listen to your story – the whole, wonderfully weird you.
Sometimes we get a bit disconnected from our miraculous bodies and those rollercoaster feelings. I like to gently explore these connections with you, maybe through some creative doodling 🎨 or just noticing what your body is saying (it's surprisingly chatty!). No pressure if this sounds a bit out there – we'll go at your pace.
Calling all you brilliant humans who identify as LGBTQIA+, my wonderfully neurodiverse people, my fellow artists and creative explorers ✨, and also you helpers and carers who deserve some support too!
Think of our sessions as your weekly pit-stop – a place to unpack the mental baggage, maybe find the map you accidentally crumpled up, and figure out your next step. We'll explore how you relate to yourself and the world, and by tuning in, you can find your own inner compass and head towards more self-acceptance and a life that feels genuinely you. 💖
If this sounds like it might be a good fit – although you never know, you can always try me out – just send me a message. I'm all ears (and have a oodles of curiosity and compassion to share with you 🫂). 🌻
Practice description
Most people choose to attend therapy every one to three weeks for a period of three to six months.
Sessions last either 30 minutes (£40) or 50 minutes (£80). A limited number of sliding scale spaces may be available.
Towards the end of therapy, we may move to occasional sessions until a natural ending feels right.
Alternatively, you might prefer to continue with regular check-ins over the longer term, for some extra support in your life.
Whatever rhythm you choose, therapy is always guided by your needs and what you feel would be most supportive for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Kes (he/they).
I believe identity is shifting and fluid, but here are some words that might give you a sense of me: AuDHD, queer, goofy, working-class, slight Brummie accent, highly sensitive, creative, dreamer, permaculturist.
People often ask me why I became a counsellor.
The decision emerged after I was invited to help create an LGBTQ+ permaculture centre in the ‘Holy Land,’ where Israelis, Palestinians and internationals came together. The centre, with its mud huts, herb beds, and fire pits, was eventually bulldozed by the Israeli government. But during those months I had the privilege of living among many nationalities and ethnicities, and I began to see how everyday struggles are often rooted in intergenerational trauma, and cultural tropes and questionable ideals we unconsciously conform to.
When I returned to the UK in 2016, I enrolled in therapy training to empower individuals to liberate their minds. Being a therapist means learning to be aware of my own conditioning and projections, so I can truly see and hear the person in front of me. Over the years, I’ve worked with many people and discovered that we are each far more extraordinary, fierce, and tender than we might think ourselves to be. Counselling is an exciting profession to be a part of, and I've loved meeting and supporting other therapists along the way.
I trained as a clinical supervisor in 2025, using a creative, integrative matrix with an awareness of established models of supervision, whilst maintaining my core, person-centred orientation. Supervision is mainly awareness and talk-based but we may also play with sand trays, doodling, clay, playdough, visual metaphors, writing or other creative media to aid learning and reflection. Many of the therapists I supervise are LGBTQ+ and/or Neurodivergent, or practising counselling as an extension of their spirituality or socially-engaged activism.
Practice description
Most practitioners choose to attend supervision every two weeks or once a month, in an open-ended way.
Sessions last 50 minutes (£80), or may be extended to 90-minutes if you prefer to have all your monthly supervision in one go. A limited number of sliding scale spaces may be available.
My first session
I offer a free, initial chat to explore whether we might be a good fit.
