About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative, somatic, relational and transpersonal therapist. My core training is in Psychosynthesis, which I understand as a self-affirming therapeutic approach that sees the self as continually seeking to emerge and unfold. It views moments of crisis not as failures, but as opportunities to come into deeper contact with our true self — while fully acknowledging the pain and complexity of those experiences.

Having further trained in integrative embodied (somatic) therapy, and complex trauma therapy, I work in a trauma-sensitive and non-pathologising way. I see the body as an inseparable part of who we are — it holds our memories, patterns, trauma, resilience and experiences outside our everyday awareness. When we attune to it, we can access deeper emotional layers often not available through our conscious minds. This embodied listening can support us to move out of survival states (such as shutdown, numbness or anxiety) and into greater connection, presence and grounding.

With awareness of attachment trauma and developmental wounds, I integrate both bottom-up and top-down ways of working. We move at a pace that prioritises safety, choice and autonomy, and centres what feels accessible and manageable for you in each moment.

My approach is intuitive, creative and values the whole of your being. Depending on your needs, I may draw on visualisations, somatic exploration, mindfulness, constellations, creative expression, inner parts work, movement, breathwork or meditation — always guided by your comfort and preference. I have experience with family systems constellation and IFS.

I offer a warm, welcoming and non-judgmental space where you can explore your identity, relationships and emotional world in the presence of an empathic other. I respect your autonomy and boundaries and see therapy as a co-creative process. My intention is to build a trusting relationship in which you can express your needs openly and (re)connect with your authentic self.

Practice description

I offer online and in-person psychotherapy for adults, and I predominantly work with people between their mid-20s and mid-40s, although I welcome anyone over 18. Most of my clients come to therapy because they feel stuck in old patterns that prevent them from living their lives as fully as they would like to. These often appear as difficulties in relationships, anxiety, depression, numbness, low self-esteem, limiting beliefs, or questions around meaning and identity. Many times this is linked to attachment traumata or traumatic events. Some may come in the midst of an acute crisis following a loss, breakdown, burnout, separation or a traumatic event. Others com for self-development such as wanting to improve relationships, deepen their connection to themselves, or navigate transitions and new phases in their lives. Additionally, I work with clients experiencing complex trauma, addictive or compulsive patterns, chronic illness, and emotional states that feel overwhelming or difficult to untangle. A significant part of my practice includes supporting clients exploring themes of belonging, identity and home. This can be due to not quite fitting the norm as well as due to mixed cultural or immigration background. I also work with neurodiverse clients as well as creative and highly sensitive people, who often experience the world with greater depth and intensity. Sessions are 50 minutes and held weekly. I offer medium- to long-term therapy and begin with an initial consultation so we can explore what brings you to therapy and whether working together feels like a good fit. My practice is warm, confidential and trauma-informed. It is a space where you can bring your whole self — including cultural, relational, emotional or existential concerns. I welcome clients from all  backgrounds and identities,  including LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse individuals, and people with culturally diverse or migration identities and offer a non-judgmental space that respects your lived experience.

My first session

I offer a free initial call to discuss your needs from therapy and to give you a first impression of how I work. It is a chance to see whether I am the right person to support you and whether you feel comfortable working with me.

If you decide to begin therapy, we will start with an introductory assessment session in which I will ask about your current situation, your upbringing, and other experiences that have shaped your life.

These early conversations are opportunities for us to get to know each other without any further commitment. If you then wish to continue, we can agree on a set number of sessions or move into an open-ended arrangement.
