About me and my therapy practice
I am a Psychosynthesis therapist—an integrative therapy combining psychodynamic & transpersonal psychotherapy—working with your immediate challenges and also connecting with your deeper potential, sense of meaning, and personal growth.
My fee is on a sliding scale from £55-£70 per 50min session for individuals (to include concessionary spaces).
I work with people from all walks of life, supporting them through their hardships and challenges while honouring their unique strengths, qualities, and potential for growth.
While I support clients with a wide range of concerns, my practice focuses particularly on relationship issues, adverse childhood experiences, and loss. I also regularly work with anxiety and depression, identity (including LGBT+), and existential questions around meaning and purpose.
I offer short-term & longer, open-ended psychotherapy & counselling, for individuals in-person (in Lewes & London Bridge), & online.

Practice description
In our work together, we may look back at childhood and past experiences to make sense of your current challenges and understand where outdated patterns of behaviour originated. Alongside this, we will hold space for curiosity about the future: What might be emerging out of this challenging time? What new possibilities, meaning, and purpose are waiting to be discovered?
Whatever brings you to therapy, feeling safe, accepted, and truly listened to is essential. The collaborative relationship we build will be the foundation of our work together. With warmth, compassion, and professional commitment, my aim is to support you in facing what feels difficult to navigate alone, helping you find the positive change you seek.
Alongside traditional talking therapy, I work experientially where appropriate and beneficial for you. This can include simple, creative techniques—such as guided imagery, visualisation, and drawing—to help broaden your self-understanding, connect with your inner wisdom, and support your personal growth.

My first session
In our first session, we will explore what has brought you to therapy, as well as your hopes, expectations, and any concerns you might have about the process. We will also take a brief personal history to help me gain a fuller picture of your life and how I can best support you. You are always in control of what you share, and there is never any pressure to answer questions you aren't ready or comfortable discussing.
If we both feel we can work well together, we will agree on how to move forward. This often involves an initial agreement of six sessions, after which we will review our progress. Therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, which naturally takes time to develop. You are under no obligation to continue beyond the first session and can end therapy at any time.
