About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Laura, a Â鶹Դ´-registered therapist offering depth-focused Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I work holistically with mind and body, supporting people who are going through change, feeling stuck or overwhelmed, or wanting to understand themselves more deeply.
My approach is grounded in sustained clinical experience and offers you a calm, relational space where we can move at your pace and stay with what matters, even when things feel tangled or difficult.
In our work together, we’ll gently explore the different parts of you; the parts that protect you, carry pain, feel joy, or hold strong emotions. We’ll notice how past experiences, relationships, and patterns may show up in your life today, creating space for understanding, self-compassion, and longer-term change.
I am mindful of how social and cultural contexts shape our experiences, and my practice is respectful, culturally aware, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and neurodiversity-affirming, with experience supporting adults with ADHD.
Alongside IFS, ideas and principles from Person-Centred Therapy, neuroscience, mindfulness, philosophy, and Jungian psychology inform my work. I am also interested in dreams, archetypes, mythology, and our connection to land and place, which may gently weave into therapy where meaningful for you.
