About me and my therapy practice

My name is Jacqueline and welcome to my profile page. I am an Integrative Counsellor with a Relational lens. This means I place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as a key part of the healing process, while drawing from a range of approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

I can offer you a confidential space that is warm, compassionate, collaborative, honest and respectful, helping you to feel safe to explore whatever brings you to therapy.

I will work with you to gradually build resilience, increase self-awareness and support you to navigate both everyday stresses and significant life transitions.

I will encourage you to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions, to set meaningful goals , challenge unhelpful patterns, and embrace new perspectives leading not only to healing but also to a renewed sense of hope and possibility for the future.

Practice description

I am an experienced, fully insured Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Grief Educator.

Based near Aldershot, Farnham, and Farnborough, I offer in-person counselling in these areas, as well as online therapy across the UK

I offer therapeutic support for adult individuals and couples.

My own experiences with loss and personal change deeply shaped my understanding of what it means to struggle—and what it takes to heal.

These experiences led me to re-train in counselling, where I now help others navigate their own challenges with compassion, care, honesty and respect.

I have an FdSc in Counselling (Humanistic) awarded by the University of Greenwich. This initial training included Person-centred, Gestalt and Existential modalities. I have undergone postgraduate additional training including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Attachment Theory
  • Neuroscience
  • Extensive training in Grief and Bereavement
  • Trauma Work
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Mindfulness
  • Sleep Difficulties
  • Creative Ways of Working
  • Group Work
  • Couples Training Stages 1 and 2
  • Introduction to working with Young People

Couples Counselling

As a trained Integrative Couples Counsellor, I support couples in identifying challenges within their relationships as potential areas for understanding and growth. The process involves learning communication strategies that aim to foster curiosity and support, rather than conflict. There is a focus on recognising how individual differences contribute to personal development, as well as acknowledging strengths within the relationship and addressing problematic areas with increased awareness.

Couples therapy may produce outcomes such as enhanced communication, greater relationship satisfaction, and better recognition of their own individual needs as well as their partners. It can facilitate more effective conflict resolution and strengthen emotional and physical connections.
