About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm May and I am a person-centred therapist and trauma-informed neuro-inclusive registered member of the Â鶹Դ´. I have a private practice in the centre of Manchester and offer face-to-face, telephone and online video sessions.
I work with a variety of clients and have seen an increase in my work with neurodivergent adults as well as supporting parents of neurodivergent children.
In addition to my private practice, I work at a charity in Altrincham, the Counselling and Family Centre which supports the community by providing counselling, training, support groups and community outreach.
Practice description
I am a compassionate non-judgemental therapist and believe that everyone deserves to feel happy and healthy. I am dedicated to helping my clients reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives. I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow and I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for my clients to do this work. I tailor my approach to each individual clients needs and goals.
Whilst I trained as a person-centred practitioner, I work at a relational depth which means that I will draw upon differing modalities to meet your individual needs. No-one knows your inner world better than you, it's about you finding your inner resources to enable you to achieve your potential.

My first session
When you first get in touch, I’ll take the time to understand your needs, goals, and the context of your organisation or team. Whether you’re exploring options or have a clear idea of what you’re looking for, I offer a friendly, no-pressure conversation to discuss how I can support you.
We’ll talk about the challenges you’re facing, the outcomes you’re hoping to achieve, and any specific requirements around mental health, neurodiversity, or inclusion.
From there, I can suggest training options or create a bespoke plan tailored to your priorities.
This first step is all about listening and exploring—no obligation, just a chance to connect and see if we’re a good fit.
