About me and my therapy practice

I鈥檓 a psychotherapist supporting adults navigating relational, emotional, and identity challenges. My work is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in ethical practice.

鈥婭 guide clients to explore patterns, understand emotional triggers, and reconnect with what matters most - within a space that is safe, inclusive, and thoughtfully held.

鈥婭 believe meaningful change takes place within a strong therapeutic alliance, where openness and accountability can develop at a pace that feels steady and respectful. My practice is built to offer that space.

Practice description

Our work is relational and exploratory.

We pay attention not only to what has happened in your life, but to what is happening in the room - in thoughts, emotions, and the body.

鈥婽ogether, we begin to notice patterns in how you relate to yourself and others. Over time, what once felt automatic or overwhelming can become understood, softened, and reshaped.

Over time, many clients begin to experience a greater sense of emotional steadiness and a deeper understanding of the patterns shaping their lives. Thoughts and reactions that once felt automatic or overwhelming become easier to notice, reflect on, and respond to with intention.

鈥婨ach session offers protected space to explore identity, soften self-criticism, and strengthen your capacity to pause rather than react. As insight deepens, relationships often begin to feel less intense, more grounded, and more authentic - both with others and with yourself.

My first session

The first session is a chance for us to meet and begin gently understanding what has brought you to therapy.

Using what we鈥檝e already discussed in our initial call, I鈥檒l invite you to talk about how you are really feeling - at a pace that feels right for you. There is no expectation to tell your whole story, explain everything clearly, or know where to begin.

Many people arrive feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or worried about saying the 鈥渨rong thing.鈥 You may even find it hard to put your feelings into words. That鈥檚 okay. Part of my role is to help you slow things down and make sense of things together.

During this first session, I鈥檒l listen carefully for themes in what you share and support you to explore what feels safe to talk about. The focus is on building trust, understanding how you see the world, and beginning to notice what might help you feel more balanced between sessions.

Clients often tell me they are surprised by how quickly the session passes - and that they leave feeling a little less tense.
