About me and my therapy practice
About me
You鈥檝e learned how to perform under pressure; to keep control, deliver results, and maintain the appearance of balance. But lately, the cost of that control is showing. Fatigue, irritability, or a quiet reliance on something to take the edge off - alcohol, cocaine, gambling, trading, the next adrenaline hit.
Many of the men I work with are successful, capable, and privately worn out. They don鈥檛 necessarily want 鈥渢herapy,鈥 but they do want clarity, freedom, and focus again; without judgement, diagnosis, or stigma.
My practice was built for men like these: high-performing professionals and creatives who need a private, intelligent space to step back, reset, and recover from the inside out.
Practice description
How I work
My approach combines therapeutic depth with practical coaching. I use evidence-based methods including Brainspotting, Harm Reduction Psychotherapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, alongside performance frameworks drawn from executive coaching. The aim isn鈥檛 to 鈥渇ix鈥 you; it鈥檚 to understand what鈥檚 driving your behaviour and help you regain agency over it.
We explore stress, burnout, perfectionism, identity fatigue and the modern pressures men face to appear invulnerable. Many feel caught between outdated masculine ideals and the loud, polarised noise of the online 鈥渕anosphere.鈥 The Quiet Reset offers an alternative: grounded, humane, and stigma-free.
Packages
Alongside standard weekly therapy, I offer tailored options designed for high-demand lives:
The Quiet Reset: six focused sessions for burnout, moderation, or recalibration
Performance Recovery: a discreet short-term intensive combining therapy and coaching
Ongoing Therapy & Coaching: monthly or quarterly sessions for sustained clarity and accountability
Sessions are available online or in person (London | Newbury| Bristol). Every aspect of the process is handled with absolute discretion.
If you鈥檙e ready to pause the noise, reassess, and rebuild on quieter terms; this is where that begins.
My first session
The first session is a quiet opportunity to pause and take stock. Many clients come in feeling uncertain about what they need, or whether therapy is even the right step. The initial meeting is not an interrogation or assessment; it鈥檚 a conversation designed to understand your situation, priorities, and what you hope to change.
We鈥檒l discuss what鈥檚 working, what isn鈥檛, and the context behind it; whether that鈥檚 stress, burnout, addictive patterns, or performance pressure. You can share as much or as little as you wish; there鈥檚 no expectation to tell everything at once.
During this session, we also talk through practicalities such as session structure, confidentiality, and the most suitable format; weekly sessions, short-term intensive work, or discreet coaching packages.
This is also the point where we agree a plan and fee arrangement that fits your needs.
My goal is for you to leave the first meeting feeling clearer about what鈥檚 happening, what鈥檚 possible, and whether this feels like the right working relationship for you.
*I offer a brief, confidential introductory call, usually around 15 minutes,to help you outline what鈥檚 bringing you here and to see if my approach feels right for you. There鈥檚 no charge for this conversation, and no obligation to continue.
