About me and my therapy practice

I am a psychotherapist for adults  (18+) based in Amesbury, Wiltshire. I offer in person / in practice, and walk and talk, online and telephone therapy nationwide. I offer home visits to those who have mobility problems.

I can support your exploration of mental health symptoms and treatment, and give you psychoeducation and tools for ongoing mental health support outside of our therapy sessions and to use after therapy has ended. This is designed to make it easier for you to identify and manage personal healing and to offer life-long support and self-empowerment over your own personal development.

I specialise in anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, but I have experience and expertise across the broad realms of mental health so please do feel free to enquire with any issues you may be experiencing.

Practice description

The idea of starting therapy can be a daunting prospect and feeling anxious about therapy is normal. Many clients come to me feeling anxious, excited, unsure... and these are all normal feelings. My practice is a safe and confidential space. This is an anchor from where you can fully explore as much of you as you need.

I work with clients who may be aware of symptoms they are experiencing but not the core issues. During our first sessions we will work on the relationship to build a secure working environment whilst we explore symptoms and develop awareness of what they might be related to. From here, we can begin to work on addressing the core issues affecting your mental health for long-term change

I can share psychoeducation and tools for ongoing mental health support outside of our sessions and to use after therapy has ended. This is designed to give you a life-long support and self-empowerment over your own personal development.

Therapy is not limited to exploring troubling thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Therapy is a practice designed to build awareness to give you more freedom in life to make change as you deem helpful - to not be a prisoner of your own automatic responses.

The work will be led by you - you discuss what you need. I am here to walk alongside you wherever you feel would be helpful.
