I currently offer therapy online only. This allows you to access support from the comfort of your own home, or any private space where you feel safe. Online therapy often feels more accessible 鈥 there鈥檚 no need to travel, and it can more easily fit into your daily life.
Many clients find that the slight distance of a screen can make it easier to open up 鈥 this is sometimes called the 鈥渙nline disinhibition effect.鈥 I also offer asynchronous options that allow you to reflect and respond between sessions at your own pace. Together, we can decide what format and pace suit you best, creating a therapeutic experience that meets your needs while respecting your boundaries.
I work with both men and women, typically between the ages of 30 and 60+, though I welcome anyone seeking support. You may be experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, difficulty sleeping, or challenges with eating and body image. Perhaps you are navigating a life transition 鈥 such as a breakup, bereavement, or career change 鈥 and are questioning your purpose, identity, or role in life. Together, we can explore these challenges, uncover underlying patterns, and help you reconnect with your sense of self, resilience, and potential. You may also be seeking clarity, self-understanding, or personal growth, and I can support you in identifying values, discovering purpose, and creating practical steps to move forward in a way that feels meaningful.
I am available Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm, and I do my best to remain flexible so that we can find a time that works for us both. If I need to take time away, I will always let you know in advance, and I ask that you do the same so we can maintain a sense of consistency and trust in our work together.
I also offer a free 15-minute online consultation. This gives us both a chance to meet, explore what you鈥檙e hoping for, and see if we feel like a good fit before committing to regular sessions.
About me and my therapy practice
Looking for therapy can feel daunting, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to even consider reaching out. Whatever has brought you here, you have already taken a brave first step. If you choose to work with me, you and I will create a safe, confidential space where you can be fully yourself without judgment. Therapy with me is not about 鈥渇ixing鈥 you 鈥 it is about exploring and understanding yourself more deeply, discovering patterns that may be holding you back, and finding ways to move forward that feel authentic and empowering.
I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist, trained in person-centred, psychodynamic, holistic, and relational approaches, and I hold certificates in understanding autism and supporting vulnerable young adults and older persons. My approach is flexible and tailored to your needs, ensuring that the way we work together feels relevant and effective. I listen with compassion, honesty, and full presence, supporting you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences safely and without judgment. We work with the whole of you 鈥 mind, body, and soul 鈥 to help you find balance, clarity, and a stronger sense of self.
Therapy is your space 鈥 a place where you don鈥檛 have to carry everything alone. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to explore new possibilities, you and I can work together to make sense of your experiences, uncover strengths, and find ways to create a meaningful and fulfilling life. By taking this step, you are giving yourself permission to be seen, heard, and supported. I would be honoured to walk alongside you, listen deeply, and provide guidance, insight, and encouragement. Together, we can create a path forward that feels grounded, hopeful, and aligned with your values, strengths, and aspirations.
Practice description
If you are a carer for a child on the autism spectrum 鈥 whether you are a parent, sibling or close relative 鈥 you may sometimes feel overwhelmed, isolated or unsure of how best to support them. Adjusting to behaviours and needs that feel different can bring up strong emotions, from frustration to sadness, and it is natural to feel stretched thin. Autism is a lifelong condition, and while every individual has unique strengths, communicating, learning and navigating the world can be challenging. I can support you with tools and techniques that help you feel more prepared, more resilient and more confident in the daily realities of caring for your loved one. A key part of this is learning self-regulation: developing ways to steady yourself when things feel intense, so that you can respond with clarity, patience and balance rather than from a place of exhaustion.
I also work with people who are grieving. Loss can take many forms 鈥 the death of a loved one, the passing of a beloved pet, or even the loss of something deeply meaningful in your life. Grief can leave you feeling empty, disoriented or disconnected from the world around you. My role is not to give you solutions but to walk alongside you, helping you to find ways of honouring what has been lost while also discovering how to create a life that feels possible and meaningful again. In this process, self-regulation can be a gentle but powerful resource, helping you hold your emotions safely without being consumed by them.
In our sessions, I bring empathy, transparency and deep respect. From the very first conversation, I aim to create a bond where you feel safe enough to open up, knowing you will not be judged. I believe each person holds the capacity to find their own way forward, and together we will explore what is happening for you so that you can move at your own pace towards healing, clarity and self-support.
My first session
Your first session with me is an opportunity for us to meet, explore what brings you to therapy, and begin to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you. I offer a free 15-minute consultation before we commit to full sessions, so that you have the chance to ask questions, share what you feel comfortable with, and get a sense of how I work. There is no obligation 鈥 the purpose is simply to see if you feel supported, safe, and able to connect with me.
In our first full session, we will gently explore your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to gain from it. Some people come with a clear idea of what they want to work on, while others may just have a sense of unease, sadness, or stress without knowing exactly why. Both are equally welcome. I will not expect you to tell me everything at once; we can go at your pace. This is also a space for you to ask me anything about the process, including how online therapy works and how I use approaches such as person-centred, psychodynamic, holistic and relational practice.
I do not see the first session as an interview or test. Instead, I view it as the beginning of a relationship 鈥 one built on empathy, respect and transparency. I may ask some gentle questions about your background, your current challenges, and any previous experiences of therapy, but always with sensitivity and care. Together, we can also talk about practical matters such as session times, frequency, fees, and what to do if either of us needs to reschedule.
Many clients say that the first session helps them feel lighter simply by being heard. My role is not to provide instant solutions but to walk alongside you, helping you notice patterns, regulate difficult emotions, and begin to find your own way forward. By the end of our first session, you will hopefully have a clearer sense of what therapy with me might feel like, and whether it feels like the right step for you.
