About me and my therapy practice

Experience

I work with a range of issues in the following: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Low Moods, Love booming, Low Self-Worth/Esteem, Low Self-worth, Gaslighting, Mother & Daughter – Relationships, Fear of Failure, Overthinking, OCD, etc.

Other Information:

Growing up as a Black African in London, I can empathise with individuals who go through struggles with certain beliefs and values from their cultural backgrounds. In a world full of differences, I believe we need more spaces to explore transgenerational issues within families and how those impact our day-to-day lives. As a safe space is created, we get to the core of the issues to find a resolution or different ways of managing the situation.

Before therapy:

If you have any concerns or questions, please contact me for a free 15-minute consultation. I work both in person and online. During the free consultation, we can discuss what would be suitable for our therapeutic relationship.

Practice description

As a Â鶹ԭ´´ Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist, I have extensive experience working with a broad spectrum of clients. My practice draws upon a range of theoretical perspectives, allowing me to tailor each session to the unique needs of the individual. This means that no two sessions are ever identical, as I adapt my approach to best support you.

Journeying Together

My aim is to accompany you as we explore and address any challenges you may be encountering in your life. Together, we will work towards managing these difficulties, ensuring you feel supported throughout the process.

Therapeutic Relationship

My approach is rooted in being present and non-judgemental fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust and collaboration. As an integrative therapist, I draw on Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and evidence-based modalities. Where appropriate, we may also explore spiritual dimensions, depending on your presenting concerns.

About me and my therapy practice

About me

As a Â鶹ԭ´´ Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist, I work with a diverse range of clients, using different theories catered to the needs of every couple, so no 2 sessions ever look the same. I aim to walk the journey with you to explore challenges you may be facing in life and are seeking to manage in your relationship.

Practice description

I am a qualified couples therapist in the UK with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, intimacy-related issues, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with couples to repair trust, improve communication, and strengthen their emotional intimacy with each other. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can make a big difference, and I am proud of you for getting started!

We'll explore your concerns, maybe some early childhood experiences that may be affecting your marriage.

Relationships have their issues; however, effective communication and agreeing on ways of working things out may require the help of a therapist, and that's what I am here for.

See you soon in the therapy room.

My first session

I support my couples by exploring their childhood. We'll explore habits and communication styles, intimacy, behavioural patterns and attachment styles.

Sometimes, our patterns of relating may stem from childhood and learnt behaviours, so by digging deeper into past relationships and experience, we'll be able to get to the core for regulation.

I support clients in relationships and marriage.
