About me and my therapy practice

Are you feeling stuck, uncertain, or carrying emotions that feel difficult to manage? I’m here to offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences without pressure or judgment. As an integrative therapist, I work alongside you with a holistic, person-centered approach, meeting you where you are and attuning to what feels most meaningful to you.

In our sessions, I’m present as both a listener and a partner in your journey, supporting you as we move through the layers of what you’re experiencing: whether that includes feelings of anxiety, sadness, depression, or something more undefined. Therapy is a place for self-discovery, and my role is to be with you as we look at what may be causing distress, gently bringing awareness to aspects of your life and relationships that may have become challenging.

Rather than offering prescriptive advice or aiming for quick fixes, our work is about cultivating insight and self-understanding at a pace that feels right for you. By opening up space for greater awareness, we can create room for change and growth that aligns with your authentic self, helping you navigate life with a renewed sense of connection and clarity.

About me and my therapy practice

Professional training

My path into psychotherapy has been shaped by years of sitting with people in some of life’s most challenging moments — in community settings, NHS services, and now in private practice. Before specialising as a therapist, I spent time supporting individuals on psychiatric wards and in community mental-health projects, experiences that taught me the importance of presence, patience, and seeing the person behind the struggle.

This naturally led me into counselling roles with Mind and later Camden Council, where I worked with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, grief, and complex relational dynamics including the challenges of being a parent. These years deepened my belief that healing isn’t about quick solutions, but about being genuinely met and understood.

I went on to train at one of Europe’s leading integrative psychotherapy institutions, completing both a postgraduate diploma accredited by the Â鶹ԭ´´ and a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling. My research explored vulnerability in the therapeutic relationship, a theme that continues to guide how I work — with openness, curiosity, and an attuned presence.

Today, in my private practice Mind Meanings Psychotherapy, I bring together everything I’ve learned across these settings: a grounded, relational approach that holds space for the whole of your experience, and a belief that meaningful change emerges through connection, not pressure.

Practice description

Feeling stuck or weighed down by anxiety, depression, sadness, or emotions that keep repeating?

Therapy can feel daunting — it asks us to face discomfort, uncertainty, and parts of ourselves we may have turned away from. The good news is that you don’t have to do that alone. The way forward is often found through supportive exploration, rather than force and avoidance.

How psychotherapy can help

I offer a real, grounded space free from pressure or judgment, where you can pause, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and know I’m with you along the way with presence and care. Therapy offers a space to slow down, listen inwardly, and understand what may be happening beneath the surface.

What we might explore together

Together, we look  at what might be contributing to your distress — whether it’s anxiety, grief, depression, relationship difficulties, or a subtle sense that something isn’t quite right. This process isn’t about rushing or fixing, but reconnecting with yourself and discovering what’s calling for attention.

I'm here to support you each step of the way on a journey toward greater clarity, resilience, and fulfilment.
