About me and my therapy practice

The first and longest relationship we have is with ourselves.

Looking after yourself is worth it and building better relationships with the people who matter in your life is so worthwhile.

If you want to find our more, and wish to develop and enhance your relationships please contact me on the form provided.

I work online with all clients offering a compassionate and non-judgemental space. I specialise in developing and enhancing relationships with partners, siblings and older parents. Focussing on our relationship with ourselves and our personal challenges.

Getting through tough times sometimes requires a little extra help. I'm here to listen and support you through those tough times, enabling you to work on your feelings, experiences, and relationships. I will work collaboratively with you, using an integrative approach to your therapy.

I am compassionate and experienced in family life and matters, long-term relationships, sibling and offspring frictions, and work-related and health-related anxiety and depression, including 'burn-out'.

I offer individual therapy.

My qualifications are

Practice description

I offer 50-minute Video online or telephone sessions.

Presently, I  am at client capacity but if you wish to be added to a waiting list please complete the enquiry form to the left of your screen.

I will send you a Zoom link and a payment link 24 hrs ahead of your session.

I am compassionate and bring many years of training, wisdom and experience working as a therapist, coach and mentor, within the third and public sectors.

 

My first session

Our first session is a 15-minute initial consultation, which is free. You can tell me what you're experiencing and what you would like to work on in the sessions. It allows us to connect and discover if we can work together in a therapeutic relationship. You are under no obligation to continue. If you do wish to start some sessions, I usually ask for you to sign a short contract between us and provide some contact details.

I offer short-term and long-term counselling sessions.

About me and my therapy practice

As the 'menopause counsellor' I'm here to listen, support and facilitate your journey towards improved thinking patterns, breaking 'stuck habits', improve your relationships and work on self-esteem and past traumas.

I provide a safe therapeutic environment for you to explore and identify a range of feelings and emotions you may be experiencing that are new to you. Or you may be battling old patterns of unhelping thinking that just seem worse at this time in your life and need help to get unstuck. I will work collaboratively with you, using an integrative approach to your therapy.

I am a qualified, experienced and insured therapist working online and over the telephone with all clients, individually or as couples offering a compassionate and non-judgemental space.

I specialise in working with clients experiencing 

  • peri-menopause and menopause
  • peri-natal issues
  • pre-and post-natal depression and anxiety 
  • miscarriage
  • infertility
  • management polycystic ovarian syndrome PCOS.

I have worked for over 3 years with CPCP (City Pregnancy Counselling and Psychotherapy) in the City of London, counselling clients who are experiencing miscarriage, pregnancy loss, infertility, IVF treatment, male infertility, childlessness, infant loss and postnatal trauma.

My qualifications include several Counselling certificates and a

BSc in Counselling (Hons) from the University of East London. 

  • I am a trauma-informed and menopause informed practitioner
  • A breastfeeding-friendly practitioner. 
  • I have experience in presenting Menopause workshops 
  • I facilitate other therapists and mentor students
  • I am trained by the Infant Loss Foundation to deliver appropriate counselling for bereaved parents.

I also offer short and long-term therapy, CBT and solution-focused therapy for short-term sessions and existential and psychodynamic therapy for long-term clients.

I offer online counselling.

We can together work out a plan for your counselling sessions, and find solutions together.

I offer short or long-term work and tailor my practice to each individual, whether you require bi-weekly or weekly sessions.

 I am experienced in working flexibly and compassionately, drawing on my professional and personal experiences. 

My first session

I offer a 15-minute free initial consultation via Zoom or phone so that we can discuss and get to know one another. 

Usually, sessions run for 50 minutes on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and cost £75.00  per session.
