About me and my therapy practice
As an accredited Psychotherapist with over 10 years experience working in elite sport, I’m here to help you tackle whatever challenges you are facing. Life can be hard, you don’t have to face it alone. Whether you are an athlete or not, let's form a team and work together to find a way forward for you, wherever you are in your journey.
Being accredited as an Integrative Psychotherapist through the Â鶹Դ´ means I’m an experienced, qualified and trauma-informed professional that you can trust.
What I can help you with:
Not feeling like yourself anymore? Feeling down, withdrawn, overwhelmed or on edge, lacking confidence? Or maybe you have a more specific challenge you are facing like navigating injury, a sport or life transition, like navigating who you are now in a new phase of life. I’m here to help. My aim is to help you understand what’s going on, build your confidence, resilience and develop a toolkit to help you tackle whatever challenges you are facing.
Who I work with: General Public and Athletes
I work with adults (18+) on a range of issues and have particular experience working with men and with people dealing with loss, grief, anxiety and life transitions. Working with complex issues like trauma and addiction are also things I am experienced in.
I also specialise in working with athletes to tackle both challenges on and off the sports arena, such as injury, transitions out of sport, performance issues and more. Unlike other therapists, I understand sport and the unique pressures it brings. Everyday challenges happen to athletes too; grief, relationship difficulties, just generally feeling low and not yourself? I can help with this stuff too. I work with current and former athletes, from amateur through to professional.
Practice description
How I work:
I’ll tailor my approach to suit you through utilising different therapeutic approaches. Don’t just want to sit in a room and talk? Don’t worry, we can work together to help you find a way to communicate what is going on, through using techniques and therapeutic exercises. Together, we will build awareness and a personal toolkit for you to use in day to day life.

What people say they like about working with me:
Past clients have liked how down to earth, calm and collaborative I am. They have valued having someone who is outside of their bubble that they can offload to without judgement, who can help them figure out what they want and need to do.
I offer an initial phone call to see if we are the right fit for each other, no charge and no obligation.
My first session
It is important to find the right therapist for you; I offer a free initial phone call to see if we are the right fit for each other.
Our first session is then a chance to get to know each other a little better and work out what you want to get out of therapy.
It can be daunting coming to therapy and there is no expectation to ‘get it all out there’ in the first session. We will take it at an easy pace.
