About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling stuck in the same patterns, overwhelmed by anxiety, or struggling to make sense of your emotions?
You might find yourself overthinking, second-guessing, or feeling disconnected from who you are, wanting things to change but not knowing where to begin.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply not quite yourself, I offer a calm and supportive space to help you to understand what’s going on.
I’m Laura Duncan-Tucker, a person-centred counsellor and therapeutic coach. I help people to understand their emotional patterns, build self-trust, and feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their inner world.
In our work together, you can begin to:
🌿 Understand your emotional reactions and what they’re trying to tell you
🌿 Feel less overwhelmed and more steady
🌿 Build self-confidence and reduce self-doubt
🌿 Explore parts of yourself that feel stuck, hurt, or protective
🌿 Develop greater self-compassion and emotional clarity
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I combine counselling and coaching to support both deeper understanding and gentle, meaningful change.
I have experience supporting clients in GP placements, community settings, and private practice.
If you’re looking for a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported, I offer a free 30-minute introductory session to help you to decide if this feels like the right fit.
Practice description
My practice provides a calm, confidential online space where you can talk openly and explore what’s happening for you without judgement.
I work at your pace, whether you need space to process difficult emotions, support through a challenging situation, or in understanding the patterns that keep repeating in your life.
Sessions are gentle and collaborative. Together, we begin to notice your emotional responses, understand where they come from, and find new ways of relating to yourself with greater compassion and clarity.
Over time, clients often experience:
🌿 Feeling less anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck
🌿 Greater self-awareness and understanding
🌿 More confidence in their decisions and relationships
🌿 A stronger sense of self-trust and inner stability
Sessions are held online and are accessible wherever you are.
While I work with clients based in the UK, I am currently living abroad. Because of this, initial contact and communication is usually made via WhatsApp or email rather than a phone call, which many clients find convenient and flexible. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and can be arranged weekly or at a pace that works best for you.
I offer competitive rates, with discounted packages available, as well as a free 30-minute introductory session.
