About me and my therapy practice
Life can be a challenge and it can sometimes help to explore what we’re going through with someone outside our immediate circle. I have a warm, supportive approach and experience of working with clients dealing with issues such as relationship difficulties, anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, addiction and bereavement. With this support can come clarity, healing and growth.
We all experience difficult times in life and can sometimes feel stuck, overwhelmed or lost. It may be that you’re coming to terms with a challenging life event, navigating a time of transition, or generally feeling unsure of the best way forward for you.
As a person-centred counsellor, my role is to create a safe, supportive space where you have the freedom to talk about how you're feeling with someone who isn’t a friend or a family member, and reflect on what you want from life.
Rather than telling you what to do, I’ll support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, allowing you to gain more clarity and understanding, and reach your own conclusions and solutions. The aim is to help you find a way towards greater self-awareness and resilience, and a life that feels more meaningful and purposeful to you.
I'm a fully-qualified counsellor and registered member of the Â鶹Դ´, and work in accordance with its Ethical Framework. I have ongoing clinical supervision and engage in continuing professional development. I also have an enhanced DBS certificate and am registered with the ICO.
I have completed specialist training to gain a professional Certificate in Couple/Relationship Therapy accredited by COSRT at Level 5. I'm committed to providing a service that is GSRD-positive and inclusive.
