I can offer to see individuals and families in the evenings, during the day on Thursdays, and may be able to do weekends, depending on the situation. I can see individuals and families virtually and may be able to do home visits if not too far from the Ely area.
About me and my therapy practice
I work relationally first, meaning the relationship is the focus of the work. I use a trauma-informed lens which means I think about the nervous system, safety and regulation in my work. I can work focusing on emotions, body sensations, and or thoughts, depending on what people are drawn to.
I have experience working with foster, kinship, and adoptive families and with people from different background and communities (Black, LGBTQ+, South American, etc.)
Practice description
When working with individuals and families, I like to think about relationship dynamics and patterns and how these may maintain, hinder, or help with change. I am hope to create a space safe enough to slow down and be curious about problems, stories, and meanings, all leading to change.
My first session
My first session is free of charge. This will be to gage if you and I are a good fit. I will probably explore your previous experiences of therapy, if any, how it would be like for us to be in a collaborative relationship, what prompted you to come see me, what other people may think about what is going on, and so on.

Availability
During working hours, I can offer supervision on Thursdays. Otherwise, it would be evenings or possibly weekends.
About me and my therapy practice
I have a certificate in systemic management and supervision. I create a space with clear communication and weave in my different training into supervision (Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Systemic practice) along with research if and when appropriate.
Practice description
Having experienced supervisions I was not impressed with, I thrive to collaborate and get feedback on what type of supervision you are looking for to grow in your practice to try and match your expectations. My area of experience is working with children, young people and the adults around them for children and young people having experienced early childhood trauma.
