Availability

As of February 2026 I have availability in St Albans- please contact me.

About me and my therapy practice

I work with adults who feel stuck, anxious or uncertain, especially around relationships, low mood, low self-esteem and the impact of difficult childhood experiences. I offer in person sessions in St Albans and online with a free introductory call.

Do you recognise yourself in any of the following?

  • wanting intimacy but feeling scared of losing yourself in a relationship
  • feeling anxious in relationships while confident on your own
  • noticing repeated patterns in relationships or choices of partners that feel painful, confusing, exhausting and hard to change
  • struggling with confidence or self-esteem when everything on the outside looks fine

If some of this feels familiar, you are not alone. Many people carry difficult things alone, thinking they should be able to cope. Over time this can develop into feeling overwhelmed, constant worry or low mood. Even with people around us, it can feel hard to talk about what's really going on or even find the words to explain why we are struggling.

Therapy offers a space to slow down and speak openly without judgment or pressure. The support of a therapist alongside you can make a real difference to how you feel.

Our early experiences can leave a lasting mark on adult life, especially if you grew up in a difficult or traumatic environment. . These experiences often shape how you feel about yourself, your confidence, your choice of partners, relationship patterns and your ways of thinking and coping with life.

Working together and my approach

As a psychodynamic therapist, this means that we will look at your current circumstances and situation, and think about how your past might be affecting your life today in ways that can be hard to identify on your own. My aim is to help you understand yourself more clearly, explore patterns that feel stuck and work on the relationship you have with yourself especially where it feels unhelpful or is holding you back from living the way you want.

About me and my therapy practice

I work with adults feeling stuck, drained or uncertain in relationships or coping with all kinds of loss, bereavement, depression and other emotional challenges. I offer in person and online sessions, with a free 20 minute introductory call.

Many of us carry things alone, thinking we "should" be able to cope with everything life can bring. Over time this can feel too much and we may begin to feel anxious, depressed or overwhelmed.  Even with people around us, it can feel hard to talk about what's going on or share our worries without feeling like a burden. Sometimes we can experience the frustration and hurt of being misunderstood by others leading us to feel more alone.

Therapy offers a space to slow down. A place where you can speak openly and freely without the pressure of having to 'show up' in a particular way.

Working Together

As a psychodynamic therapist, this means that we will look at your current circumstances and situation, and think about how your past might be affecting your life today in ways that can be hard to identify on your own. Therapist - St. Albans

Sessions from £70.00

  • Flexible hours available

Availability

I work weekdays - 8am is the earliest session time, 6.30pm is the latest.

As of February 2026 I currently have availability for in person and online sessions.

About me and my therapy practice

I work with adults who feel stuck, anxious or uncertain, especially around relationships, low mood, low self-esteem and the impact of difficult childhood experiences.

My main way of working is psychodynamic which means that I believe that many of our present feelings, emotions and thinking are influenced by our early relationships with parents/carers and from our childhood experiences. These experiences can shape the way we are as adults. I will work with you so we can seek to understand how those influences might be impacting you now.

Therapy offers a space to slow down and speak openly without judgment or pressure. The support of a therapist alongside you can make a real difference to how you feel.

You don’t have to be at breaking point to seek therapy - if something is weighing on you, it matters, even if everything looks fine on the outside. Sometimes we struggle alone believing we should be able to cope with the many challenges and difficulties that life brings.

Maybe you are carrying grief that no one sees or anxiety that shapes the way you move through life. Perhaps you are struggling with self-doubt, low self-esteem or generally dissatisfied with how life is for you right now or don’t know exactly what feels wrong.

You might be feeling frustrated with repeating relationship patterns that feel hard to understand and change or struggling with intimacy and communication. I believe that these patterns are rooted in our earliest relationships and I will help you understand these patterns at a deeper level and help work out a way to move forward with more clarity and confidence.

Maybe you are single by choice and want to explore other issues that are important to you beyond a romantic partnership. Therapy can help you navigate a life that may look different from the norm but still holds much meaning, value, love and connection.
