About me and my therapy practice

I am an accredited and professionally trained Trauma Therapist and Integrative–Relational Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (MÂ鶹ԭ´´). I work with individuals and groups, offering carefully held therapeutic spaces that support depth, healing and meaningful inner change.

I specialise in working with professional women and LGBTQ+ clients, including trans and non-binary people. I have particular experience supporting those coming out or questioning later in life, as well as survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence, including experiences that were early, repeated or relational in nature. Although much of my work centres women and LGBTQ+ people, I also welcome anyone who feels drawn to this depth-oriented, embodied and relational approach.

Clients come to me for support with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, confidence issues, bereavement and loss (including pet loss), family and relational difficulties, PTSD and complex trauma, dissociation, eating disorders and body image distress, chronic stress, shame, identity-related difficulties and suicidal thoughts. Some clients arrive with a clear sense of what they want to work on, while others come with a feeling of being stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves.

Alongside personal trauma, my work often gently touches on intergenerational, cultural and systemic layers, including the impact of oppression, marginalisation and long-standing adaptive patterns held within the body and psyche. Some clients experience this as carrying something that does not feel entirely their own. For others, the work includes navigating chronic conditions, questions of meaning, spirituality and belonging. These dimensions are approached with care, respect and discernment, without imposing belief or interpretation.

Practice description

While many people begin therapy seeking relief from distress or symptoms, the work often naturally moves beyond survival. As safety, regulation and inner trust develop, therapy becomes a space for reclaiming vitality, agency and self-leadership. Through embodied awareness and inner attunement, clients often find they are able to live with greater choice, creativity and aliveness — reconnecting with a sense of power that is grounded, internal and their own.

I have worked at a trauma-focused day clinic on Harley Street, where I facilitate groups in trauma psychoeducation, neuroscience and creative therapeutic processes. I have previously worked within the NHS, specialist LGBTQ+ health services within the Maudsley, residential suicidal crisis respite services, and organisations supporting sex workers within sexual health settings.

My background is in theatre, which informs a therapeutic style that values presence, embodiment, creativity and humanity. Where helpful, I integrate creative and experiential elements into the work, alongside mindfulness, meditation, movement and body-based awareness, supporting reconnection with the present moment and inner felt sense.

I am deeply committed to working with trauma in ways that are non-pathologising, body-aware and affirming of difference. Research increasingly recognises that traditional talking therapies alone can be limited when trauma is held within the nervous system. By working with both mind and body, we can gently release long-held survival responses, restore regulation and support lasting, meaningful change.

My private practice is based in Soho, Central London, in a light, calm and intentionally held therapy space. I offer a discreet, inclusive and affirming environment where all parts of you — personal, relational, cultural and ancestral — are welcome.

My first session

My work is grounded in the understanding that trauma is held not only within the mind, but within the body, nervous system and wider relational and systemic fields. I primarily work using a blend of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing, alongside polyvagal-informed and trauma-stabilisation approaches. I am trained to IFS Level 3 through the official IFS Institute and also work as a Program Assistant on IFS trainings. I have trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and have completed the full three-year Somatic Experiencing training.

I work in a collaborative, attuned and spacious way, moving at a pace that respects both your capacity and your inner wisdom. Central to my approach is supporting a compassionate, embodied relationship with your inner world — including emotional, protective and bodily responses — so that insight, safety and choice can emerge without force or overwhelm. Therapy is experienced as a shared process where consent, curiosity and empowerment are essential.
