I offer a warm, grounded and person-centred approach that allows you to explore what鈥檚 happening in your life at your own pace. My practice is holistic and trauma-informed, drawing on talk therapy, body-based awareness and creative expression. Whether you're coming with a specific issue or a general sense that something isn鈥檛 quite right, I aim to support you in deepening your understanding of yourself.
What you can expect in our work:
A respectful, confidential space where you鈥檙e met with empathy and curiosity
Sessions guided by your pace, needs and experiences
A long-term, depth-focused approach for those wanting sustained change
Space to explore emotions, memories, and patterns without judgment
An interest in your whole self 鈥 including your body, creativity, dreams and unconscious
I work well with people who feel 鈥渄ifferent,鈥 overwhelmed or disconnected, including those navigating ADHD, autism, trauma or complex family dynamics. Many of my clients are young adults (16鈥24) seeking support as they begin to make sense of who they are in a world that hasn鈥檛 always felt safe or supportive.
My work is informed by attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and my own ongoing exploration of body-awareness and yoga. I also bring insight from years of working in settings such as drug and alcohol services, children鈥檚 homes, and low-cost counselling services.
Above all, I offer a steady, thoughtful presence. I don鈥檛 rush to fix or analyse. Instead, I walk alongside you as you begin to uncover what you need in order to feel more whole, connected, and alive.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer psychotherapy and counselling to adults and young people (16+), both online and in person from consulting rooms in Eastbourne and Lewes. I work with people short or long term, depending on your needs. Sessions are 50 minutes and cost 拢60. Everything you share is treated confidentially and with care.
Areas I work with include:
Anxiety, panic attacks, low mood and burnout
Addictive behaviours (including substances, food, screens, relationships)
ADHD, autism, and navigating neurodivergence
Trauma, attachment wounds and childhood experiences
Self-esteem, people-pleasing and fear of abandonment
Creativity, identity, and a sense of feeling 鈥渓ost鈥 or stuck
As well as being professionally trained in psychotherapy and person centered counselling, I bring lived insight 鈥 particularly around body awareness, creativity, and how early experiences shape our sense of self. I draw from a range of therapeutic frameworks and am continually updating my skills through professional development.
I鈥檓 especially interested in how the unconscious expresses itself through dreams, habits, and even your hobbies 鈥 and how those hidden parts of you might be trying to tell you something important. You don鈥檛 need to arrive with answers or goals; we can begin with wherever you are now.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with something? Relationship difficulties? Or addictive patterns or compulsions that are beyond your capacity to control? Maybe you are experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidality or panic attacks; or perhaps you (or someone close to you) have received an autism, ADHD or other diagnosis and would like a space to make sense of it all? You may not even know what really brings you to find a therapist, just a feeling of being stuck or that life is missing meaning or purpose.
Some of the benefits of therapy include increased self-esteem, stability and calmness, and a reduction in social anxiety and the need to 鈥減eople-please." Less fear of abandonment, and a growing ability to share intimacy. Better choices of friends and intimate partners based on mutual respect and equality (rather than familiar roles). More fun and playfulness, more spontaneity and more feelings of genuineness. Better ability to set healthy boundaries and limits, less fear of failure, healthier choices and behaviours.
As our sessions become a trusted space you will feel increasingly soothed and regulated. Each session will provide the opportunity to dive into experiences, memories and feelings, so that you can gain a clearer picture of yourself and how things in your life have shaped you and continue to impact you. As you discover why you have developed certain characteristics, strategies and behaviours you will begin to free yourself from the shame and pain which are carry overs from the past. You will gain more mastery of your reactions and actions in the present. You will develop a compassionate interest in yourself and care less about what other people say or do. Over time, you will internalise the unconditional positive regard that you experience in therapy, and build tolerance of a broad range of difficult feelings. Learning to to focus on and understand what is happening internally will enable you to design a life that is correct for you.
Practice description
I offer long and short term psychotherapy and counselling. I work both face to face from my consulting rooms in Eastbourne and Lewes, and online. What you bring to our sessions is confidential, and your anonymity will be respected at all times. Sessions are weekly and I charge 拢60 for a 50 minute session. As well as traditional talk therapy, I include expressive arts counselling as part of my offer. This includes drawing, painting, image work and other types of play done purely for its own pleasurability and expressive nature (in other words, there is no requirement to 'be good at' anything.)
You, the client are in the driving seat all of the time, determining the route, the pace and the content of our interactions. My job is to observe, to really listen, to provide and hold a predictable and safe space and to gently support you to clarify what is going on for you and to make your own connections. As our relationship progresses and deepens, you may find yourself feeling more relaxed and able to unmask in the knowledge that I won鈥檛 try to fix, advise, or diminish your experience in any way.
I鈥檓 both experienced and well qualified, with a Masters and Ph.D as well as my professional counselling and therapy qualifications, and I am registered by the 麻豆原创 (the counselling and psychotherapy professional body). I am insightful, real, focussed and present. I care a lot about my clients and my profession, and am professional at all times. I keep up to date with innovations in my field by undertaking continual professional development and am trauma informed and twelve step informed. I am trained in child development, attachment theory, IFS and I am experienced in working with neurodivergence, depression and anxiety, abuse, codependency, panic attacks, addictions, and self harming behaviours.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer a person-centered, holistic approach to counselling and psychotherapy to all individuals and especially for young adults aged 16 to 26. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where you are in the driver鈥檚 seat, choosing the pace, focus, and content of our work together. My role is to provide a consistent, safe, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood.
I pay attention not only to what you say but also to what your body and creativity might be telling us. I integrate traditional talk therapy with creative methods and dreamwork, which can open up new ways to explore experiences which words don't quite reach.
Many of my clients come with challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, addictive behaviours, or difficulties in relationships. Whether you鈥檙e sure why you want therapy or just feel stuck or overwhelmed, therapy can offer a space to slow down, reflect, and gradually build a deeper understanding of yourself.
Working with me is often a long-term process where trust and connection grow over time. As our relationship develops, many clients feel safer to explore difficult feelings and patterns, develop self-compassion, and make choices that better align with who they truly are.
I am experienced and well qualified with postgraduate and graduate degrees. I am trauma-informed and committed to ongoing learning, regularly updating my skills to provide sensitive and effective support. I work face-to-face in Eastbourne and Lewes, and online, offering flexible options to suit your needs.
If this way of working feels like it might suit you, please get in touch for an initial conversation so we can explore whether we鈥檙e a good fit.
Practice description

Long-term, deep therapeutic relationships.
I offer a space for ongoing, long-term therapy where we can explore your story in depth. Many clients find that this continuity helps them grow and heal in ways shorter therapy can鈥檛.
A holistic, embodied and creative approach.
Alongside traditional talk therapy, I include creative tools like art, imagework and dream analysis. These approaches can help you connect with feelings and insights that words alone sometimes miss.
Experience with complex, vulnerable young adults
I have worked extensively with young people facing complex challenges, including trauma and addiction, in settings such as drug and alcohol services and children鈥檚 homes. This experience helps me understand and support you with sensitivity and respect.
A Person-centered, client-led focus
You are always in control of our work together. I listen carefully and follow your pace and needs, creating a therapy experience that respects your autonomy and unique journey.
The integration of a range of compatible approaches.
I draw on a range of approaches, including attachment theory and Internal Family Systems, alongside trauma-informed and twelve-step perspectives, to tailor therapy to what suits you best.
An emphasis on embodiment and body-awareness inspired by my own experience.
My own practice of body-awareness informs my work, helping me to tune into how emotions and experiences show up in the body 鈥 something we can explore together if it feels right.
Respect and interest in the many ways people communicate symbolically.
I鈥檓 interested in the many ways you might express and understand yourself 鈥 through dreams, creativity, hobbies, or the unconscious 鈥 and I鈥檓 here to support you in discovering those meaningful messages.鈥
