About me and my therapy practice
I am easy to talk to and offer a calm, collaborative space to explore what's currently going on for you. I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist.
I draw on various psychological theories to suit each individual, we are all so different after all, and I believe it is the relationships between us all that facilitate healing.
Practice description
I offer both short and long term therapy (short being around 12 sessions and long term anywhere beyond that, as agreed between us) for adults and teenagers (11+). Sessions occur once a week on the same day; there may be flexibility here though.
My first session
Our first session will be 50 minutes long which is the length of regular sessions.
This session will involve me asking questions to understand more about you and your life at the moment. I will ask you about what you want from therapy. We will speak about what has been impacting you emotionally recently and begin working through it.
By talking about things we will hopefully help you feel more grounded and more like yourself. It can be really helpful to talk to someone that isn't family or a friend. It helps us gain perspective.

About me and my therapy practice
I work in a supportive and calm way. I draw on various psychological theories to suit each individual, we are all so different after all, and I believe it is the relationships between us all that facilitate healing. I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist. I have a lot of experience supporting people with autism and other neurodivergence.
Often it is helpful to talk to someone outside of our family and friend circles, so that we can gain more perspective.
In person sessions are £70. Online sessions are £55.
Practice description
I am easy to talk to. I work with adults and adolescents. I offer short term to long term work. Sessions are usually weekly although if you are wanting flexible or less regular sessions then we can do this online.
I work in an integrative relational way which means that I focus of on the therapist-client relationship; research shows that this is important when it comes to successful therapy.
My first session
A first session will involve a few questions about what you are coming to therapy about. This is so that I can learn more about you and the context of your life. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions, and to see if you feel we are a good fit for therapeutic work. It's important you are comfortable with your therapist.
First sessions are 50 minutes long, as are ongoing sessions.
I offer a shorter no obligation 30 minute taster session. This can be booked here: https://embracingemotions.as.me/schedule/09082ea1/appointment/77879674/calendar/7699320
