About me and my therapy practice
If you鈥檝e found your way here, it may be because life feels overwhelming, confusing, or just too heavy right now. Whatever has brought you to this point, I want to offer you a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can pause, breathe, and begin to make sense of things.
As a counsellor, I bring warmth, empathy, and a deep respect for your unique journey. I also gently challenge when it feels helpful鈥攁lways with the aim of supporting your growth. My work is grounded in the belief that you already hold the resources you need within you, even if they feel out of reach right now. Together, we鈥檒l work to reconnect you with your inner strength and resilience.
I practice integrative therapy, drawing from a range of approaches to meet your individual needs. My work is informed by neuroscience, particularly in understanding how trauma and stress affect the nervous system. I offer practical tools to help calm an overactive system鈥攐ften at the root of anxiety, chronic worry, and sleep difficulties.
Many clients also find it meaningful to explore 鈥淧arts Work,鈥 an approach that recognises we are made up of many inner parts, each with its own voice and story. Working with these parts can bring clarity, compassion, and deep emotional healing.
Above all, my goal is to walk alongside you as you move toward greater ease, connection, and fulfilment in your life.

About me and my therapy practice
Would you like to experience more ease and calm in your life? Would you like to access more of your life-force energy and creativity? Do you simply need someone to talk to?
Navigating life can sometimes feel like a challenging and lonely task. My priority is offering you a safe, confidential, non-judgemental place to pause, take a deep breath and begin to make some sense of what鈥檚 going on. Being listened to, and truly seen and heard by someone who cares is a powerful healing experience. From this place, you鈥檒l feel empowered to discover your own inner resources.
My qualities as a counsellor include warmth and compassion, but also an ability to gently challenge you when appropriate. I am approachable and genuine, and strive to empower you to flourish in your life. I have a great deal of experience working with anxiety and other difficult emotional states. My work is informed by the important insights of neuroscience into trauma and its effects on the nervous system. I work with clients to find practical tools such as EFT, breath-work, felt sense, mindfulness, and inner child work. These techniques calm the nervous system which may have been running on high alert and causing all manner of symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, and a sense of being overwhelmed.
Practice description
What to expect in your first session
The first 50-minute no-obligation session is there for you to ask questions and for me to take your history. This allows you to get a sense of whether you feel you could work with me, and for us to decide whether we are the right fit.
How I work
If we agree to work together, it will be in the form of regular weekly 50-minute sessions, usually on the same day and time. We will first look at finding relief for your immediate issue and then decide if longer-term work would be beneficial in achieving a more lasting change.
My approach is warm but challenging. The fundamental premise is for you to feel safe and accepted, and to go at your own pace. No subject is off limits, and I offer my full presence to truly hear what may be troubling you.
I believe that only you can be the expert on you and my role is to help you to find insight into the underlying causes of your distress.
