About me and my therapy practice
Counselling with me offers a warm, supportive space if you’re feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or struggling to cope with life’s challenges. Together, we focus on helping you feel calmer, more grounded, and better able to manage what you’re facing.
With a background in science, I integrate traditional talking therapy with evidence-based approaches such as breathwork and mindfulness. This can help reduce anxiety, regulate emotions, and build a stronger sense of stability and self-understanding.
My multicultural background, along with my interest in history and genealogy, informs my work with intergenerational trauma. I’m interested in how past experiences—within families and across generations—can shape how we feel, respond, and relate to others in the present.
I also offer EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping, a gentle approach that can help ease emotional distress, anxiety, and stress. It involves light tapping on specific points on the upper body while focusing on a particular issue, supporting a sense of calm and emotional balance.
In addition, I offer EMDR therapy, a well-established, research-based approach for working with trauma. EMDR supports the processing of difficult experiences so they become less overwhelming, allowing you to move forward with greater ease.
Practice description
I offer online counselling, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Many people find that being in a familiar environment helps them feel more relaxed and able to open up.
Online therapy is widely recognised as being as effective as face-to-face counselling, while also offering greater flexibility and convenience.
I offer both short-term and long-term work, depending on your needs.
Sessions take place via Zoom or Google Meet. I will send you a secure link by email before each session. Joining is usually straightforward, and I’m happy to guide you step-by-step if you’re new to online sessions.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation, giving us a chance to briefly talk through what you’re looking for and see whether we feel like a good fit to work together.
Session fees:
• 50-minute session – £60
• 90-minute session – £100
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping can be integrated into your therapy or offered as a stand-alone approach. The first EFT session is 90 minutes (£100), with follow-up sessions lasting 50 minutes (£60).
EMDR therapy is available in both 50-minute and 90-minute sessions. Longer sessions can be helpful when working more deeply with trauma, allowing enough time to process experiences at a steady and manageable pace.

About me and my therapy practice
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or the impact of past experiences, I offer a calm and supportive space where you can begin to feel more grounded and in control.
Together, we work at your pace to understand what’s behind these difficulties—whether that’s ongoing anxiety, burnout, or unresolved trauma. I aim to help you feel safer in yourself, reduce overwhelm, and develop practical ways of coping in everyday life.
With a background in science, I integrate talking therapy with evidence-based approaches such as mindfulness, breathwork, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping. These can support emotional regulation, ease physical tension, and help you feel more balanced.
I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a well-established, research-based therapy for trauma. EMDR can help process difficult experiences so they feel less overwhelming, allowing you to move forward with greater ease.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy—we will work collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you.
