I help adults in their 20s/30s when anxiety & low self esteem impacts their personal & professional life e.g Do you worry what people think & fear rejection which makes friendships & relationships hard to maintain? Does fear of making mistakes and being judged hold you back from living the life you want?
Are friendships stressful because you often worry they are mad at you, find it hard to be yourself or fear losing them if you let them down?
Perhaps socialising is no longer fun because of overthinking every social interaction and lying awake at night wondering how you came across.

Is work overwhelming because a fear of making mistakes or being an imposter leads to overworking, overthinking and an inability to put in bounderies.

I am trained in a variety of proven and practical approaches which are particularly useful for low self esteem and anxiety. I love working with people who are committed to change by implementing the tools I offer.
These includes CBT to help you generate more helpful ways of looking at things, mindfulness to help you regulate anxiety and change your relationship with thoughts/feelings and compassion based approaches to cultivate kindness instead of self criticism.
You can start using these tools straight away to reduce anxiety but also work towards lasting changes so that you can feel: calmer and more confident, comfortable in your own skin and more secure in relationships. You’ll be able to prioritse yourself without fear of disapproval, be more present and joyful in life and get a better work life balance.
My first session
In the first session, we will explore what brought you to therapy including relevant past experiences. We will then discuss what you want to change to plan interventions to help you work towards those goals.
