About me and my therapy practice
Empathy, non-judgement and understanding are some of the key principles I practice with clients.
I offer a supportive and confidential online space where you can explore whatever is troubling you, at your own pace.
With experience supporting diverse individuals of all ages and backgrounds, I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and person-centred counselling. I'm here to listen and help you understand and manage difficult feelings, move beyond your challenges, and create a more fulfilling life.
Recognizing your unique individuality, I will work with you in a way that best suits your needs, helping you explore your concerns and achieve meaningful change.
As I offer a 30 minute free consultation, why not book in and speak with me? You have nothing to lose.
Practice description
I have extensive experience of working with many different issues so consider reaching out to me. Previous clients have described me as someone who makes them feel safe – someone who listens with genuine care.
I give clients all the time they need to discuss their issues, before we then take the first gentle steps towards finding a solution which feels right for them.
A solution may not be what you are looking for – in that case, just talking about what is on your mind might be helpful?
My areas of specialisation include:
Anxiety
Depression and Feelings of Sadness
Panic Attacks
Low Self-Esteem
Gender Dysphoria
Body Dysmorphia
Sexual Identity
While these are my primary areas, I also have experience with a range of other issues. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your specific needs.
Therapeutic Approaches
I am an integrative counsellor, using the Person-Centred Approach and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Integrative means that is use whichever approach you feel is most effective for you. When using the Person-Centred Approach, I will invite you to tell me as much about the issue as you are comfortable to discuss. You may find that talking about the issue to a complete stranger is enough to help you improve.
You may find it useful to look at how the issue is affecting your thoughts, feelings, body and relationships and this is where CBT comes in. We will work collaboratively and take a more structured approach to therapy; some clients prefer this way of working.
Take the first step with a free 30-minute consultation. This is an opportunity for us to chat about what you'd like to work on, for me to explain my therapeutic approach, and for us both to see if we're a good fit.
I offer convenient 50-minute online sessions via video or telephone. The number of sessions is up to you – there's no set limit.
Recognising that reaching out is a significant step, I invite you to contact me by phone or email for a free consultation to explore if this feels right for you.
My first session
Once you book your first session, we'll collaboratively establish a working agreement to guide our sessions.
We will then begin addressing the issues you've brought, working together towards positive change. My aim is to provide a safe space for you to explore and understand these issues, and from there, we can find solutions together.
What I can help with
ADD / ADHD, Anger management, Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Bereavement, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Depression, Health related issues, Identity issues, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Men's issues, Neurodiversity, Obsessions, OCD, Phobias, Redundancy, Self esteem, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Stress, Vegan allied, Work related issues
