Hello! My name is Kathryn Fox (they/them/theirs) and I’m a person-centred psychotherapist.
That means that my style of counselling is to keep your wants and needs at the centre of all of our sessions together. We will work as a team, and work together to get you where you want to be in life.
I specialise in helping trans and/or non-binary people become who they really are without judgement.
If you are looking for somewhere to create meaning in your life, you are feeling lost or hopeless, or you are seeking emotional support, please get in touch.
Practice description
Are you looking for someone who knows what it’s like to be queer? You’re in the right place! My main areas of therapeutic expertise are in gender identity, trauma, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ life.
I have undergone extensive post-graduate training from Pink Therapy and Gendered Intelligence.
I also offer a limited number of low cost sessions to trans and/or non-binary people, as needed. If income is in any way a barrier, please do not hesitate to get in touch to see what we can organise.
As both a practicing therapist and as someone who has healed and grown in therapy myself, I know how it feels to be in both chairs in the therapy office. I have experience of many of life’s issues and have helped my clients through many more and, as such, I am ready to tackle any issues with you. It’s also important to me that I provide you with compassionate and authentic counselling at affordable rates. It can be exceptionally tough to start looking for therapy, and I'm proud of you for doing so today.
My first session
Contact me by email at kathrynatfoxtherapy@gmail.com to say hello and see about setting up an initial session.
Depending on what you’re most comfortable with, we can talk by email or via a quick chat on Zoom to discuss any questions and, if you’re happy to, set up an initial session at a time that suits you. During this free, fifteen-ish minute chat, we will talk about what you would like to get from therapy and what to expect. I will talk a little about the services I provide and what our therapeutic relationship might look like going forward.
If we are happy to continue, we can set up a full first session.
All correspondences are treated with respect and confidentiality, and there are no obligations to continue.
