Practice description

Adults:

My priority is for all of my clients to feel safe and grounded when working with me. I try to make sure all of my clients come away from the therapy with a better understanding of themselves and with the tools they need to continue moving forward in their lives and to help them through future life challenges.

Many of my clients start off with weekly sessions and then move to fortnightly or monthly depending on what they need.

I can work in a more goal-focused short-term approach or a more analytical long-term approach depending on what works for my client. I try to be as flexible as possible for my clients as I know how hard it can be to fit everything into a busy week including therapy.

Young People and Parents:

Being a young person in this current climate with so many transitions to navigate can be paralysing, I can help with a range of issues from exam and social anxiety, depression, low mood and low self esteem, friendship issues, cyber bullying/bullying, conflict within the family dynamic, self harm, disordered eating, general burnout and I can help to create a healthy relationship with social media and mobile phones, as well as work with all of the issues listed above in my adult section.

My aim is to help my young clients build resilience and confidence allowing to feel more able to cope with life's challenges by giving them tools to do so, as well as to help them transition from child to young adult.

Couples and Relationships:

I hope to facilitate constructive communication, helping partners understand the deeper roots of their disagreements to resolve issues and build a healthier relationship. I aim to provide an impartial space for both partners to express themselves, explore interaction patterns, and learn to communicate with more respect and understanding, ultimately empowering the couple to find their own solutions.

My first session

I always offer a free 15-minute zoom call to see that we are the right fit. Here I can explain how I work and see if I am the right person for you or your child.
