About me and my therapy practice
Coping with overwhelming thoughts and emotions can feel like a daily battle — especially when anxiety, self-doubt, or past experiences keep resurfacing. Talking to a trained professional can be a powerful step towards understanding what’s going on beneath the surface and finding a way forward. Whether you’re feeling stuck, lost, emotionally overwhelmed, or simply need space to process a difficult experience, I’m here to support you.
I am a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the Â鶹Դ´. I have worked across diverse settings with individuals from young adults to older adults, offering support for a wide range of challenges including anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, and low self-esteem.
While my foundation is Person-Centred therapy — which places your experience, autonomy and inner wisdom at the heart of our work — I also draw on psychodynamic principles to help explore how early life experiences and unconscious patterns may be influencing your current thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. This can be particularly effective when working with anxiety, as we begin to uncover its deeper roots and long-standing emotional triggers. Where appropriate, I also integrate CBT techniques to offer practical tools alongside deeper exploration.
Our work together will be tailored to you — your pace, your needs, and your story. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can be truly heard. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back, build emotional resilience, and move towards lasting change.
