Hello, I'm Noreen a very warm welcome to you. I work with adults, couples & adolescents.

I will listen to you without judgement in complete confidence. I will offer my insights to help you explore how you would like your life to look and what you may be able to do to bring about those important changes. There's no magic wand, no overnight cure, but there is a space to decide what is important to you. We can work through any feelings of self-doubt, shame and fear and begin to hear your voice.

I know that this process can be a little bit intimidating reaching out for help is incredibly difficult, especially doing it for the first time.

I am a person-centred therapist with training and experience in CBT, DBT, and mindfulness.

I believe that each individual or relationship is unique and I adapt my approach to meet your needs.

I have a special interest working with Anxiety-General & Social-Depression-Trauma-Addiction- Bereavement & Loss.

I work with Adults-Seniors-Teens-Children-Couples.


My first session

I offer a complimentary call usually for around 15 minutes, this is an opportunity for you to get a sense of who I am and how I work, and for you to  ask any questions discuss your expectations and goals.

Should we agree to work together, we would then agree a suitable date and time to meet.

I work both long and short term.

You can end therapy when it suits you, however it is always wise to plan an ending as part of the therapeutic process.

About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome. My name is Noreen. I have experience working with adults, couples, children, and adolescents across a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.

You may have reached a point where something no longer feels manageable, or where you sense that something needs to change but are unsure where to begin. Therapy offers a space to slow things down and begin to make sense of your experiences, helping you develop greater clarity and understanding.

I am fully trained and work integratively, drawing on evidence-based approaches and adapting my work to suit the needs of each individual or couple. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Many people come to therapy feeling anxious, low in mood, overwhelmed, or struggling with unresolved experiences that continue to affect their present lives. You may have spent much of your life meeting expectations or putting your own feelings aside, only to find that this has become difficult to sustain. I offer a non-judgemental and supportive space where you can reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and concerns at your own pace.

Together we can explore how these experiences are impacting your everyday life, identify areas of difficulty, and work towards finding more manageable and meaningful ways forward.

I offer a safe and confidential space where you can explore your feelings, fears, and difficulties openly, without worrying about the impact on those around you. Therapy provides an opportunity to step back from everyday pressures, gain clarity, and find a meaningful way forward.

I understand how important it is to find the right therapist. I offer a calm, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and supported as we explore what may be contributing to the difficulties you are experiencing, whether these relate to anxiety, low mood, relationships, or feeling stuck.

At the heart of my work is a belief in people鈥檚 capacity for growth and change. Together we can work towards understanding difficult emotions, recognising patterns that may no longer be helpful, and developing new insights and strengths. The aim is to support you in finding more manageable ways of coping and moving towards a more satisfying and balanced life.

My first session

I offer a short complimentary introductory telephone call, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions and to get a sense of me and how I work. This also allows us to consider whether therapy feels like the right next step for you.

If you decide you would like to continue, we would then arrange an initial session where we can begin to explore what has brought you to therapy and think together about how we might work going forward.

Adults/Seniors

You may have had expectations and judgements throughout your life, suppressed your own feelings and beliefs to be accepted, and this has worked so far, but somewhere there has been a shift and your feelings may be difficult to contain, leaving you feeling anxious, depressed, unresolved trauma being triggered? I offer a non-judgemental space where you will feel able to reflect on your thoughts feelings anxieties and concerns.

Together, in a therapeutic relationship we can explore the impact these have on your everyday life, in your relationships, recognising what triggers conflicts and old behaviours, I can support you in processing and identifying areas of difficulty and support you in moving forward.

Relationship/Couples

Are the solutions you鈥檝e tried on your own not working or only providing short-term relief?

Does it feel difficult 鈥渢o communicate鈥 in ways that leave each of you feeling validated and understood?

Couples Therapy/Marriage Counselling may be the support you need to grow beyond your stuck points.  I will help you understand your communication style. We identify opportunities for increasing personal accountability. You improve your ability to self-reflect. We also heal emotional wounds that may block you from establishing trust and safety.

Children & Adolescence

My experience as a mother and grandmother supported by my work with children and young people provides a 360 approach to therapy.

Working with children and young people aged 11-18 years, I have helped many young people to understand their feelings, manage difficult times, become more aware and work towards achieving their full potential.
