About me and my therapy practice
Life can feel hard - sometimes overwhelming. We live in strange times. You might be feeling stuck, anxious, angry, low, or simply ground down by the demands of everyday life. Maybe you’ve noticed your relationships seem to fall into the same painful patterns, or that you’re carrying emotions that feel too heavy to manage alone. Talking with someone who understands can bring relief, clarity, and new possibilities.
As a therapist, I offer a space where you can be fully heard and met as you are. My approach is relational and grounded - I pay particular attention not just to what is said, but to the feelings, sensations, and meanings that arise in the moment. I see therapy as a chance to explore life as it is, without pressure to strive for an ideal, but with curiosity about what might emerge.
I work with a strong sense of humility and care. I recognise that therapy always unfolds in the context of your unique history and the wider world around us, and I aim to meet that with sensitivity.
Most of all, I see therapy as a shared journey. I don’t claim to have all the answers - instead, I accompany you, with presence and openness, as we explore together what might bring more ease, depth, and connection into your life.
Practice description
I am an experienced and qualified counsellor. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from The Psychosynthesis Trust, I am a member of the Âé¶¹Ô´´ and attend fortnightly clinical and peer-supervision to deepen my practice. I offer a safe, nurturing, confidential and compassionate space for us to explore your material together.
I am passionate about the benefits of therapy. I believe we all have the innate ability to reach our full potential when fully witnessed and supported. Walking alongside a warm, understanding and compassionate counsellor, who is able to see your potential when it might be lost to you, can be transformative. My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introductory chat over the phone - to see if you might like to book an initial session with me. The initial session offers a chance for you to share with me why you are seeking therapy at this particular time and for me to gather information about your childhood, your relationships, major life events and anything else that you feel is important for me to know. If we both feel that we could work together going forward, we will book in an additional 5 sessions, then review to see if you want to carry on working together.
